Guide: This is a map of Hipcamps within 5 miles of The Old Leatherman Walk. This is not a clearly labeled hike; rather, it's a stitched together loop that approximates the 19th-century circuit the Leatherman walked. You will find Leatherman-themed sites and locally signed trails—e.g., marked approaches to Leatherman’s Cave on the Mattatuck Trail and other parks—but those signs are for the local trails, not a continuous “Old Leatherman Trail". Either way, you should do a bit of additional research before embarking on your adventure. Check for trail closures and practice Leave No Trace.
