Dale, TX – 30 minutes south of Austin: The grounds are available for tent campers at this 7-acre farm near Austin, TX. Danielle may also be hosting relocated shelter dogs, if you have any pets that need accommodation too.
Floresville, TX – 30 minutes south of San Antonio: Cristal can host tent campers at this working cattle ranch near San Antonio.
Boerne, TX – 30 minutes northwest of San Antonio: Carol can host one family with pets and horses.
Bruceville, TX – 30 minutes south of Waco: Dee can host tent campers and RVs at Harmony haven. She has drinking water, an indoor bathroom as well as electricity available for charging phones.
Rogers, TX – 1 hour north of Austin: There is room for four RVs at this honey farm – beekeeping – and wine & mead making operation near Austin.
El Paso, TX – Hueco Tanks campgrounds are set up for rock climbers visiting the Hueco Tanks State Park. “It’s a simple campground, but we are more than willing to help anyone who needs it.”
Hawkins, TX – 40 minutes north of Tyler: Mike and Vicki are opening their doors to RV campers at their retreat in Eastern, TX.
Canton, TX – 1.5 hours east of Dallas: Cody has one camping trailer available that can sleep 5-6; with electricity and cold water. The hot water heater does not work at the moment. Flush-able toilet is located 100 yards from the camper. They can host outdoor pets and limited livestock.
Alpine, TX – 1.5 hours south of Marfa: This campground can host both tent campers and RVs. More listings will be added soon.
Brashear, TX – 1.5 hours east of Dallas. Shannon is offering our cabin and tent sites for no charge to anyone displaced by the hurricane. “It is off grid, but would provide a place to stay.” Pets and horses are welcome, though dogs will have to be on a leash as there are cattle in the field.
Rocksprings, TX – 3 hours west of Austin. Jessica has a house that can sleep a maximum of 6 that they like to offer instead of the normal campsite. Some of their family will be at the ranch through Monday and can house anyone through that day.
Mt Vernon, TX – 1.5 hours east of Dallas. Gay has room for tent campers and RVs at his working cattle ranch. Pets are allowed.
Keatchie, LA – 40 minutes southwest of Shreveport. Mary has two bunkhouses with hot showers and can host about 8 people each for up to a week that will be available this Saturday.
Round Top, TX – 1.5 hours east of Austin. Beginning Sept 5, Sue has the following availability at her property:
