Dogs of Hipcamp

It’s scientifically proven that dogs need to go camping. It’s good for their health, makes their coats shinier, and they’ll love you more for it. Unfortunately, lots of national parks, state parks and public campgrounds aren’t always welcome to furry friends. And we can’t blame them—not all dogs are as cute, well-behaved or friendly as your dog. Oooh, who’s a good boy?!

One of the many perks to Hipcamping is that you can search for hundreds of pet-friendly campsites in all 50 states—outside of national parks, within driving distance of metro-areas, on lakes, next to rivers, in the mountains, you name it. Filter by pet-friendly options on the left side of the discover page and never leave your best adventure bud at home.

Oh, and did someone just say puppy playdate? Many Hipcamp hosts have their own dogs, cats, cows, alpacas, and other four-legged friends for your pup to play with while they (and you) enjoy the benefits of sweet, sweet nature. Here’s to ruffin’ it!

P.S. August 26 is National Dog Day. To celebrate, take your best friend camping. Tag #dogsofhipcamp to spread the puppy love!
