Nickel Plate Nordic Centre is located near Penticton, British Columbia, and offers a high-altitude cross-country skiing experience. With an average snowfall that supports a long skiing season typically running from November to April, the conditions are often ideal for Nordic skiing. The terrain at Nickel Plate is diverse, with over 56 kilometers of groomed trails that cater to both classic and skate skiers of all levels, from beginner to advanced. While there are no terrain parks or night skiing areas, the resort is known for its expansive network of cross-country trails set amidst a scenic mountain environment. The views from the trails are picturesque, featuring the surrounding forest and mountain landscapes. Nickel Plate Nordic Centre is considered family-friendly and offers additional winter activities such as snowshoeing on designated trails. However, there are no facilities for ice skating, snow tubing, snowmobiling, or sledding at the resort.
