Ski resort
49° North Nordic Center is part of the 49° North Mountain Resort, which is known for its impressive snowfall, averaging around 300 inches annually. The skiing season typically runs from late November to early April, depending on snow conditions. The resort offers a variety of terrain that caters to all skill levels, including beginner-friendly slopes. While the main focus is on alpine skiing, the Nordic Center provides cross-country skiing opportunities with a network of trails. It is considered a family-friendly resort, offering ski lessons and activities for all ages. In addition to skiing, visitors can enjoy snowshoeing on designated trails. There are no ice skating, snow tubing, snowmobiling, or sledding areas at the Nordic Center, but these activities may be available in other parts of the larger resort or nearby.
