SkiBig3
Ski resort
SkiBig3 is a ski resort collective in Banff National Park in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, comprising three major ski areas: Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise Ski Resort, and Mt. Norquay. The region is known for its stunning alpine scenery and reliable snow conditions, with the season generally running from November to May. The area receives an average of 9 meters (30 feet) of snowfall annually. The terrain across the three resorts varies, offering something for every level of skier and snowboarder. There are beginner-friendly slopes, terrain parks, and extensive backcountry areas for the more adventurous. Cross-country trails are also available, particularly at Lake Louise. Night skiing is offered at Mt. Norquay. The lift systems across the resorts are modern and efficient, helping to maximize time on the slopes. The views are breathtaking, with panoramic vistas of mountain ranges, glaciers, and frozen lakes. SkiBig3 is family-friendly, with ski schools and gentle runs for children and beginners. Beyond skiing and snowboarding, visitors can enjoy ice skating, snowshoeing, and tubing. While snowmobiling and sledding are not typically offered within the ski areas, there are opportunities for these activities in the surrounding Banff area.
