Le Massif de Charlevoix offers some of the most spectacular skiing conditions in Eastern Canada, with an average snowfall of about 645 cm (21 feet) per season. The skiing season usually runs from early December to mid-April. The terrain at Le Massif is diverse, with over 50% of the runs suitable for intermediate skiers, while also providing ample challenges for experts and several options for beginners. The resort does not have a terrain park, but it does offer off-piste and backcountry areas for those looking for an adventure. Cross-country skiing trails are available, but there is no night skiing. The lift system includes a high-speed gondola and several quad chairs. The views from the resort are breathtaking, as it overlooks the St. Lawrence River, giving skiers the impression of skiing right into the river. Le Massif is family-friendly, offering ski lessons and a magic carpet for beginners. Other activities at the resort include a luge track, snowshoeing trails, and a guided backcountry touring experience. While there is no ice skating, snow tubing, snowmobiling, or sledding within the resort, the region around Le Massif offers these activities.
