It welcomes a diverse range of guests, including Active Duty and Retired Military personnel, Reservists, DOD employees, 100% Disabled American Veterans, Veterans with VHIC ID cards, and Air National Guard members. Reservations are required, and the boathouse is open on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The campground features a picturesque setting with ample shade and full hookups, making it an ideal retreat for both novice campers and seasoned travelers. A nearby lake enhances the scenic beauty, providing opportunities for relaxation and outdoor activities. The clean, well-lit bathrooms boast excellent water pressure, ensuring a comfortable stay with minimal pest issues, even during extended visits.
