Nestled on 4 acres of pristine land, our campground offers over a quarter-mile of creekfront access, providing the perfect setting for outdoor adventures and relaxation alike. Situated just 300 feet from the scenic Clinch River, outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking. Simply float under the bridge to access the river and embark on a serene paddling adventure. For those seeking a peaceful retreat, our campground offers two distinct lots to choose from. Lot 1 features fire pits, picnic tables, covered swings with picnic tables for adults, and a swing set for the kids, making it an ideal spot for family fun and gatherings. Lot 2 offers a more private and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the soothing sounds of nature. Both lots are equipped with electric outlets for added convenience, and a port-o-potty is available on-site for your comfort. Whether you're roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, splashing in the creek, or simply soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds you, our creekside camping experience promises memories that will last a lifetime. Site 2 is beautifully located creekside, with this lot being a huge and more private lot. On this 2 acres of creekside with plenty room to roam ,Firepit and picnic table and fire pit grills on site . Site 1 is beautifully located creekside only 300 ft from the Clinch River, small fish in the creek, some deeper spots for creek play, according on water level, and the river located just under the bridge a kayak can can gain access through the bridge to the river . Firepit on site, campfire grill, picnic tables on site, electric outlet on site, port o potty on site, covered swings for adults and also a big swing and slide for kids !

This single lot located on a dead end street in town, public swimming pool is across the street for a small entry fee , pool is open June, July everyday, and weekends in August. Lot has full hookups and also has wifi . Very level and easy to get into with any size RV. Restaurants and stores less than 1 minute away. Very convenient . Elrod falls is about a 10 minute drive , Clinch river public boat ramp is a 5 minute drive, Swinging bridge that goes over the river is about 20 minute drive .

This rv park lot is located by its self along the road with just a short walk across the highway down a pathway that leads to the huge creekside area . the kids can play , and for the adults, a big firepit to relax. beautiful mountain sunset views in the evening as you sit and wind down. Clinch River boat ramp is just minutes away

Another wonderful stay out on the creek! This host has gone above and beyond time and time again. We can't say enough good about them. The fall colors were beautiful!

We loved camo site 1! It was clean and well maintained with a play area for the kids and a nice gazebo with swings and picnic table. William was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Only thing that could make this place any better would be an outdoor showering spot! My family loved our first camping trip, out on the creek definitely started a new tradition for us!

Site #2 was amazing. Every thing I hoped for. The only drawback is road traffic noise and dogs barking all night. But I will return. I was lovely and well maintained off grid. I left a night early because of the neighbor hood barking

My husband and I loved our stay at site number two. The host takes great care in making sure the site is perfect and ready for you to enjoy your stay! We were looking for a clean creek area free of glass for our dogs to play in and this was just the place. If you are looking for the same thing, this site is an awesome option for kids or animals! The host is very responsive and makes sure that you are taken care of and have everything you need. The only complaint we had is that the site is right by the highway and the road traffic noise is very high, it didn't stop us from enjoying the place but it may be something to watch out for. Aside from that, we highly recommend site 2 and we will definitely be back!!!

I believe this was our 4th stay at site 2 & it never disappoints. We spend most of our time playing in the creek. We're already booked again next month!

A very spacious, peaceful, and private site. Checkin was hassle-free. No problem parking with our 6’ x 12’ trailer. The creek provided calming sounds. A little traffic noice, but this is nothing unless you have extreme noise sensitivities. This is a really nice site at a fair price.

Long weekend on the Creek

Our second time at site 2 and we'll keep coming back! We set up our 21-ft fifth wheel on the gravel drive, a 12-ft travel trailer and a tent were in the grass. It's such a beautiful and spacious site. The longhorns greeted us again across the creek on the north end of the property line. This time their mule friends tagged along! The whole family (including the dogs) walked down the creek to the river one morning. They're we're so many flowers in bloom. It was just lovely. The host, William truly went above and beyond delivering an important item we left behind. Good folks. We'll be back soon!

Great spot! Very pretty, and the Porta potty was very clean. The camping area itself is perfect, but you are right next to hwy 31 so there is some road noise. There are trees between the site and the road, but when leaves are down in fall it looks like it would lose alot of the privacy. But otherwise we were very happy with our stay!

Beautiful place. Will be returning as 3 days was not enough. If you need to recharge your batteries, this is the place to do that. William is an exceptional host. He really goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is enjoyable and relaxing.

We are in a situation between closing on our house and closing on new property and had no where to go without spending a ton. We spent 2 weeks between both sites. Loved them both. William is a wonderful and helpful host. Would definately go back for a real vacation or weekend get a way.

We came to town to do some geneology and stayed at this site. Full hook up. Even though the pool was across the road, it was quiet. Much more than we expected. Nice level site. Wifi was good, but if your working or require alot of speed you will need a your own internet or a hotspot. Andy was very friendly and helpful. Looks like Andy is adding more sites here, good luck on your expansion. We will definately stay here again. Thank you Andy for a nice place to stay.

This was our first experience with HipCamp and Out on the Creek! We had a lot of fun and would highly recommend coming out here for camping. The owner was very nice and talked to us a bit (we needed firewood and he sells it). The campsites are pretty concealed from each other, so you have your own privacy. We will definitely be coming back out there as it’s close to town.

Creekside camping at it's best

We absolutely loved our stay! Site 2 is so picturesque with several great access points to the beautiful crystal clear creek. Because the water is so clear we saw several incredible native fish species including killifish, shiners, and darters (Northern lights & shiners were actively spawning....SO COOL!!!!)! The amenities were great to have including a level gravel area with a large picnic table and fire pit with grilling/cooking grate as well as a charcoal grill. The tire swing is a great touch. Having 110 power was a HUGE plus. Garden hose access would've been icing on the cake (to refill our water tank) but we made do with creek water once the tank was empty. Cell phone signal is very spotty, but enough to check in and eventually send a picture or two. The gravel drive is well maintained, however the ground immediately surrounding the drive gets very soft and muddy when it's rained, making the rest of the area inaccessible with tires, and really messy on foot. Open accordingly. Packing that side in and adding a gravel pad would be really helpful. We ended up booking a third night just so we could spend the rest of our last day playing in the creek. The next trip is already booked!

New favorite creekside camping spot

We spent 2 glorious (and extremely private) days playing in the creek. Out on the Creek is our new favorite camping spot! Site 2 is huge and offers the best creek access. The large picnic table, 2 fire pits (with grate for campfire cooking), grill, and large trash drum were wonderful amenities. Being able to plug into 110 electric made life easier. Hose water access would've been icing on the cake, but that's ok. The only thing I can see being an obstacle is the soggy ground near the gravel drive. It was drying up nicely when we arrived, but can tell if there's been a lot of rain it could make accessing the 2+ acres of usable space impossible for anything with tires (and undesirable on foot). Adding a gravel pad to that area would really help. Besides that, the rest of the site was nice and hard packed. We plan to return often!
