Nestled in the heart of Middle Tennessee, our campground stands out as a unique destination with a rich history and a commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the area. Originally established in the late 1970s by the Army Corps of Engineers, this campground served as a beloved retreat until funding issues led to its closure in the late 1980s. After years of neglect, it was revitalized in the early 2000s when Jean Harden secured a grant to breathe new life into the site. Leasing the land from the USACE, she successfully reopened the campground, creating a welcoming space for outdoor enthusiasts. In 2018, we took over the campground, excited to continue its legacy. The breathtaking wildlife and lush trees captivated us from the start, and we quickly grew fond of the warm and welcoming community in Middle Tennessee. Our campground offers a serene escape, complete with ample privacy and beautiful natural surroundings. Guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, and swimming in nearby natural features. Additionally, local restaurants and shops provide a taste of the region's charm.
