We had pretty low expectations of this place from the pictures, but somehow it managed to be so much worse than even those depicted. There are potentially two streets you could enter from. My GPS chose the unnamed street where I drove for a bit on a badly damaged gravel road. My partner turned into a driveway where the weeds are so overgrown we couldn't physically get our small camper through it. Then we pulled up to a large beat-up gravel lot with a number of abandoned buildings. There's no signage, so we wondered what kind of scam we got ourselves into. Then we noticed a red bucket on a stick marking a small drive to a much smaller lot that is so badly maintained there's no flat surface anywhere. The other campers were clearly long-term residents of this lot, which on its own isn't necessarily a red a flag, but there was a shirtless man with white supremacist tattoos and an off-leash German Shepherd chilling in the lot behind ours. To say the whole vibe was SUPER sketchy is an understatement so we left and contacted the owner about our reservation change. He helpfully suggested that we carry guns to feel safe like he and his wife do.

GREAT STAY!! Super close to downtown, very nice hook ups. Good power, and water pressure. They look brand new. Easy to get in and parked. Will definitely stay anytime going to Knoxville. Hunter is an A+ host and very accommodating. Thanks!
