First of all, let me say that Beaver Stick landing exceeded my expectations.
In the days leading up to my arrival, the hostess, Lisa, was in communication with me regarding directions, due to spotty cell phone service in the area. She definitely wanted to make sure that I knew where I was going and the directions she gave were spot on!!
I hit a snag on my way up there and had to postpone my arrival by one day. I contacted Lisa and let her know and asked if I could amend my reservation, she was more than happy to accommodate this request. On the day that I was to arrive I was running late due to being new at driving an RV camper. Lisa actually reached out to me to make sure that I was OK and to find out if I knew what time I was going to be arriving.
Upon my arrival I was greeted by Lisa, her father Dave, and Buddy the black camp dog. They directed me immediately to my site and Dave was even kind enough to back my camper in for me being that it was dark and as I said previously I was new to driving an RV camper.
Since it was already dark I got the quick and dirty tour. The bath house was the tits!! Solid construction, separate facilities for ladies and gents, HOT showers (!!!!) and even a laundry facility. I’ve not camped at too many RV parks, but this was hands down, the nicest bath house I’ve ever had the pleasure of using.
I for getting settled in, I was invited over to the community bonfire which was awesome! Here I met the “welcoming committee” which consisted of five barn cats- Winken, Blinken, midnight, Oreo, and lucky. These fluffy little masters of the RV park made sure that I was tucked in every night and they also greeted me each morning and sat with me while I had my cup of coffee.
The whole RV park sits on 200+ acres along side a creek and it’s quiet, secluded, but close enough to town. They are working on becoming a self-sustaining Park and farmstead.
My 3 day stay ended with sadness, but I will definitely be back!! I would 10/10 recommend the Beaver Stick to anyone looking for a new and different RV experience.

Park was just what we were expecting. It was a little tight getting 36ft RV in, we got in. Park water pressure was an issue when the park got crowded. Park had 50 amp site for us. Park owners were great. So were the long term RVers. We enjoyed the creek.
