On 2 acres within walking distance of downtown Kalispell and a short drive to Glacier National Park, we offer comfortable tipis that can sleep from 2-4 people. The tipis are equipped with a queen-sized air mattress and bedding, a power box and lighting and a table and chair. You have access to picnic tables, a fire pit and a good selection of yard games like croquet and corn-hole to name a few. The acreage is surrounded on three sides by Ashley Creek and boasts a unique covered bridge and awe-inspiring grandmother Willow trees. Beautiful downtown Kalispell is an easy 10-minute walk. There you'll find local breweries with live music, a local ice cream shop, a variety of restaurants and shops. Parking is not right next to the tipis, but we have a wagon to help get your things from your vehicle to your tipi. Under the bridge is where you'll find our games, including croquet, badminton, Frisbee and Frisbee games, Bocce ball and Wiffle golf balls and clubs. We also have extra bedding and air mattresses in a secure chest. Remember that you'll be camping in a field. We've done our level best to keep the tipis clean and clear of pests, but it is a natural environment, so there is a non-zero chance that you'll run across some dirt, grass, thistles, or a multi-legged friend. You might even get an unwanted gift from a bird. If any of that needs to be gone, you can access a broom and leaf blower on the bridge, or you can find one of us on the property and we'll take care of it for you. Thank you for your understanding!

Hollyhock tipi is a 16’ tipi that comes equipped with a Queen sized air mattress and bedding, furniture, a couple lamps and a fully charged power brick that powers the lamps and lights and will keep your phones and other devices fully charged. The floor is canvas lined and partially covered by a rug. This tipi can sleep up to four people comfortably, but, at the base level, comes equipped with one queen sized air mattress. We have twin air mattresses that can be included upon request. The tipi opens to the Northwest, facing our field and Ashley Creek. A clean Porta potty is less than a minute’s walk away on the covered bridge. Potable water is not available at the campsites but can easily be accessed near the parking area. A washing machine is also available for guests’ use. We also have a good selection of bikes that you can borrow to get you and your family into downtown Kalispell or on our nearby Rails to Trails bike path. Bikes, along with a good selection of games, are on the covered bridge and available for your use at no charge.

Sunflower Tipi

Sunflower tipi is fairly similar to Hollyhock, except that it has a different patterned rug and different bedding. It also has different furniture than what's in Hollyhock. Sunflower tipi is a 16’ tipi that comes equipped with a Queen sized air mattress and bedding, furniture, a couple lamps and a fully charged power brick that powers the lamps and lights and will keep your phones and other devices fully charged. Hollyhock Tipi
This was the perfect little place to crash after a late plane ride into glacier! The tent was spacious and neat, and even though it was chilly at night we stayed perfectly comfortable with the bedding provided. The area was beautiful and Sara was an excellent host, making sure we had everything we needed. I also agree with the other guests-this was the most immaculate porta potty I’ve ever used.

Sunflower Tipi
Very clean, labor of love, very chill, charming, nice people, clean toilet, family friendly, proactively checking in on the state of the camp with tarps and contingency plans for rain, etc, help yourself to an abundance of items including games and bikes from the covered bridge including a fridge, nice area under the giant willows with firepit, picnic tables and hammock chair, good proximity to downtown Kalispell

We had a wonderful time camping at Willow Bridge. The giant willow trees and creek were beautiful and relaxing and the hosts were amazing.

Sunflower Tipi
This is a wonderful little hip camp right on the far edge of town. we came into this very unique little property just in time to see the rodeo which worked out perfectly. First time in a tipi was pretty neat (loved the fresh sheets and poofy pillows and cute little night lights)and these guys have done an amazing job making sure every detail is fresh and clean. The covered bridge to get over to the tipi and fire pit area was the coolest thing ever. Didn't get a chance to have a campfire (wood provided!!) or swing in the sky chair but enjoyable no doubt! This is a great location if you are headed into the park for a day or two and still have access to cute little Kalispell! Sarah & Frank-- great job!! we look forward to popping in again and sending happy campers your way!

We loved our stay at Willow Bridge! We came in late from Bozeman and it was so nice to have the lit bridge and everything already set up. Sarah was also highly communicative and even answerred a text at midnight. The property is beautiful and well located. We definitely will be coming back!

Peaceful stay! Had a very relaxing stay after a great hike in glacier national park. I would highly recommend if you are looking to stay an 45min away from west glacier. Hosts were amazing, they are so friendly.

Sara & Frank were so nice. It was like camping at a friend’s place. Everything was perfectly clean, and snuggling in a tipi was very fun for our 10 year old and me.

This was a fantastic campsite with welcoming owners. It’s in a field behind a property and a covered bridge so it feels secluded. There is a great little campfire area near the stream, with seating under shade trees. We found the tipi comfortable and the provided power pack worked well with my cpap machine and charging our phones. My super light sleeping wife said we can come here again, which is a strong review.

A wonderful retreat during a busy weekend at Under the Big Sky. Very quiet, beautifully landscaped, and exceptionally nice hosts! Sara even refrigerated my freshly picked fruit for me! Got to see lots of Canada geese and fawns (deer). Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Sara and Franks place( sunflower Tipi) they made sure our stay is comfortable. Place is good. Bed is comfortable. It also has a portable charging box ❤️ We also saw a wild deer early in the morning. Overall, our stay is superb!

This place is awesome! The property is beautiful, their willow trees are gorgeous, and Sara and Frank are truly some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. They provide plenty of games/activities to use during your stay. Sara even made a Kalispell bingo game for guests to play! I couldn’t recommend this place more :)

Was a little skeptical about camping in someone’s backyard at first but this exceeded our expectations! The hosts were very friendly and the camping space was very spacious and exactly what we needed for the weekend. Will definitely book again when we return to the area!

Thank you for the accommodation! It was peaceful with lots of birds and deer wandering through. Very cool. The property was a great home base to pitch a tent and rest during a quick weekend trip to hike in Glacier.

Would recommend this lovely oasis to anyone! Staying here brought so much life to our visit in Kalispell. Sarah & Frank are so fun & generous and have put so much thought into what they’re offering to share with people. To borrowing bikes to ride around town, offering tons of games and 3 beautiful grandmother willow trees to sit around, with a fire pit for the evening. Can’t wait to come back one day :)

I'm so happy I stumbled across Sara's tipi's as it perfectly served our needs. If you don't want to pay the exorbitant prices of the hotels or don't want to have to bring all your camping gear, this is a GREAT option. The property is very pretty and Sara and Frank were there to help with any questions and were very accomodating. Main street Kalispell is very close by for meals. The only downside is that there is only a (very clean) Honey Bucket and a hose for cleaning/brushing so it's good for as long as you can go without a shower. It's absolutely perfect for a one or two night stay. Thanks Sara and Frank!

Sara and Frank are awesome. They made sure everything was ready and the accommodation was just what I needed. Willow trees by the creek are beautiful. I used one of their bikes to get into Kalispell and loved that.
