šŸ•ļø Elkrise Meadows – Elk at Sunrise Under the Big Sky Location: Trout Creek, Montana Type: Primitive Tent Camping | 10 Acres | Off-Grid Welcome to Elkrise Meadows — where the elk roam, the sky never ends, and your morning coffee comes with a front-row seat to nature’s wildest show. Pitch your tent on 10 private acres of meadowland nestled in the wilderness outside Trout Creek. No power, no water, no Wi-Fi — just you, your gear, and whatever you bring with you. If you pack it in, pack it out. Each morning just before sunrise, a herd of elk moves through the pasture, grazing peacefully in the early light. It's a moment you'll never forget — whether you're sipping coffee by the fire, stretching in the cool dawn air, or watching from inside your tent. This is roughing it at its finest. Perfect for hunters, couples looking to unplug, or anyone ready to experience Montana the old-fashioned way: raw, real, and unforgettable. šŸ”„ What to Expect šŸŒ„ Epic sunrise views over open meadows 🦌 Daily elk sightings (seriously!) šŸ”„ Fire pits welcome (check fire restrictions) ⛺ Bring your own tent, gear, and grit šŸ’§ No water, no toilets – this is real off-grid camping šŸ›» Easy pull-up access for trucks/SUVs Note: This is not a glamping site. It’s the kind of place where you might wake up at 4 a.m. with your partner, step outside to take a leak, and suddenly find yourself staring down a herd of elk in the rising mist. If that excites you — you’ve found your spot. šŸ“ Book your stay at Elkrise Meadows Come for the silence. Stay for the sunrise. Leave with a story.Elk Camp at Trout Creek – Where the Wildlife Is Real and the Freedom Is Wilder Wake up in the middle of nowhere with the sun on your face, the cool breeze on your… well, everything—and a herd of elk grazing just yards from your tent. Welcome to Elk Camp: 10 raw, untamed acres outside Trout Creek, Montana, where nature doesn’t knock… it just strolls through like it owns the place. About 7 acres of wide-open pasture is yours to set up camp—no RVs, no glamping nonsense, just real tent camping the way it was meant to be. The elk usually swing by around 4 to 6 a.m. (they’re early risers), and if you're lucky, you'll catch 'em up close. Across the pasture, there’s another 7-acre spread, and beyond that? Thousands of acres of national forest teeming with elk, deer, bighorn sheep, moose, and the occasional ā€œwhat the hell was that?ā€ moment. The back of our property borders other landowners—so no wandering off that way in your birthday suit. Fires are allowed in the designated fire pit (fire restrictions permitting), and you're welcome to howl at the moon if that’s your thing. No power. No water. No people breathing down your neck. Just open sky, fresh air, and whatever wild experience you make of it. Bring your tent. Bring someone you like getting wild with. Leave your worries—and your troubles—behind.
