At Rupert’s Resort, we offer 100 campsites surrounded by mature trees, ensuring ample shade and privacy for all our guests. Our full-service facility caters to a variety of camping preferences, featuring seasonal, weekly, and daily camping options. Choose from 30 amp campsites or take advantage of our few 50 amp pull-through sites for added convenience. For those seeking a more rustic experience, we also provide plenty of primitive camping areas. Our amenities include clean bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a sewer pumping service for a small fee. To make your stay even more enjoyable, we offer a dump station for easy waste disposal.     Cheap weekend getaway

    I used to camp at Lake of the Woods years ago. It seems to have gone down hill over the years. But it's still a decent place to camp. It's basically where the poor people camp. But for about $75 for the weekend it'll work. Don't expect much. W.O.A!!!! BRING A TABLE!!!! I think they still have the same picnic tables they had 30-40 years ago. And it shows. The owners are a bit gruff and no nonsense, but efficient. If you want privacy and seclusion, you have it. There are no actual fire rings. Just spots where a fire had been. (Keep that in mind). If you're not afraid to truly roughing it. This is a good spot. There's a Dollar General, a grocery store and a liquor store nearby. I would recommend it. Just don't go in expecting the typical fancy campground that seems to be the norm these days. The other campers were courteous and helpful.
