Great spot for an overnight stay, with a terrific host! I booked this site the morning of my arrival, and Dave couldn’t have been more responsive or accommodating. I was traveling with my dog, Charlie, and knew I’d be arriving quite late. Dave was completely flexible about the timing and provided clear, detailed directions for finding the site and electrical hookup after dark. Everything was exactly where he said it would be, which I especially appreciated pulling in around 10:30 PM. The facilities were simple but well maintained. The porta-john was clean, paper towels were provided, and the outdoor shower worked great. The water was cold, but I’d brought a five-gallon bucket and immersion heater, so I was able to improvise a very comfortable warm shower! The other guests were quiet, and I had a peaceful, restful night. It’s clear that Dave puts thought into making the experience easy and welcoming for his guests, even those booking at the last minute and arriving well after dark. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, well-run overnight stop with a thoughtful, communicative host.

Absolutely gorgeous property! The owners were readily available from the moment we got there and were so kind. We loved the horses and other barn animals on property, and the campsite was kept clean and well maintained with a movable picnic table and fireplace for convenience. The best part was sleeping under a beautiful weeping willow. Would absolutely stay again

Another great stay! Booked the boondocking spot for myself while my friends grabbed the electric site and we had a great time. It's peaceful and quiet here, clean site, the port-o-potty on location is always clean and the handwashing station is perfect. I'll always look to stay here when I'm in the area!

Just wanted a place to decompress for a few days, alone with my thoughts and a good book. This has it all. The only thing I regret it’s not ordering Tara’s streusel coffee cake ahead of time. I would have loved to have enjoyed it my whole stay. Absolutely delicious! I even had to bring 1 home.

Lovely place. Host was very accommodating. Our 40ft trailer sat comfortably in the camp site. Scenery is beautiful and quiet. Host Dave is a very nice guy and made sure we were comfortable. We will stay there again someday.

Not far from Indianapolis. Havendell Farm was perfect. I enjoyed listening to nature and watching the horses. Dave was very responsive and the property was as described. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a wonderful place! I camped for a quick overnight on a long drive (but I made sure to give myself time to check out Newfields- the art museum 25 min away in Indianapolis- highly recommended). The campsite I stayed in had a pile of cedar mulch nearby and it smelled incredible all night. Quiet, picturesque, safe and comfortable- it was an ideal place for a single camper. The portapotty near the sight was so convenient and I could not smell it at all. The hosts were responsive and kind. I would happily stay again!
