Bixler Lake Campground stands out as a unique destination in the heart of Kendallville's largest city park, offering an affordable and family-friendly camping experience. Nestled among beautiful wooded sites, this campground is perfect for both individual campers and group gatherings. Each site is equipped with water and electrical hookups, ensuring a comfortable stay. The on-site camp store provides essential supplies, including firewood and ice, while modern restrooms and showers are designed to be handicapped accessible. Campers can enjoy a wide range of activities, including fishing and swimming in the expansive 117-acre Bixler Lake. The campground features modern playgrounds, a ball diamond, nature trails, horseshoe pits, and volleyball courts, making it an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, the Park & Recreation Department hosts various special events throughout the season, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. To make reservations during the camping season, please call (260) 242-6898. For inquiries outside of the camping season, the Park and Recreation office can assist at (260) 347-1064. Please note that advanced reservations are required for holidays, along with a non-refundable deposit.
