Such a beautiful place. The campsite was so peaceful and secluded. We had so much fun walking around the property and saying hi to the horses and chickens. This was my boyfriends first time camping and he loved it!

We had a lovely stay at the farm! The neighborâs cat was a frequent visitor at the campsites and was a highlight of the trip for us, along with the horses and the chickens. There wasnât a spot to hang up our hammock at our site, but there was a rope hammock up near the horses at the pond that we were happy to use. Suzanne was a great host and very responsive.

The hosts were hospitable and replied quickly to inquiries. We loved meeting the roosters and appreciating the horses. There were quite a few people all around, lawn mowers going, and kids playing catch next door. Everyone was kind, just lots going on and we were looking for some peace and quiet. Beautiful forests minutes away for great hiking!

Fantastic spot. Wish we had more time to explore, as the property featured a lot. It was a last minute booking, thus availability was the primary driver of our search - however, we were pleasantly surprised it was a horse farm with plenty of space to roam. Would visit again.

What a nice spot to enjoy the outdoors without having to go to far from Chicago. Definitely would go again.
I love this place! It was very secluded and beautiful â¤ď¸ lots of wild life! My dog and I really enjoyed the peace and quiet and beautiful. Really liked walking to the camp site. Fishing in pond, dog friendly and they have wood, drinks and eggs to buy.

A secluded and safe fairyland, Suzanne was so warm and welcoming and she keeps a truly beautiful property, the animals are all gorgeous and the energy is just lovely!

I literally couldn't have asked for a better place after such a horrible situation and I will openly admit that coming from being robbed, broken down and beaten these people showed no judgement on me. They are some of the kindest most understanding and helpful people I have ever met in my life.. Suzanne is so intelligent and her husband is also so empathetic. The horse farm is unlike any other place on earth. Heaven on Earth. From the pond with hammocks secluded to enjoy the sunrise or sets, to the conversations and convenience of amenities. Hot and cold water were able to be utilized for bucket baths in the woods which I loved. I couldn't wait to just shower and rest without worry. This place exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to come back and visit. I loved the horses and they truly are so incredibly majestic and beautiful. If you NEED a place and have a tent, GO. You will be welcomed with open arms. There's a fire pit, cold drinks for purchase for SINGLES & Suzanne was even kinda enough to help me haul my things. I was able to hold a lil chicken too. 100% would recommend to anyone. These are genuinely some of the kindest and most understanding people I've ever met. This place is a serene getaway. I can't believe I'm home in Chicago and can't wait to visit again soon. Until then, tell dink I love em. Lol he is still my lil fav. <3 thank you all again kindly.

Suzanne's property is lovely. There are two campsites - one that can fit a one-person tent, and another (where I stayed) that can fit a 4-person tent. Both have firepits. The port-o-potty is about a 2 minute walk from the campsites, as is the parking area and potable water filling station. This is best for someone used to lighter, more rustic camping. The trails all around the property are lit by solar lights and are well-maintained. And the horses are lovely and friendly!

My daughter and I loved the tent site. We met and held the therapy chicken and Iâll admit it helped my stress level. The horses were my daughterâs favorite especially Percy. The Port-a-potty was even clean. We had a great time.

This was my first time booking a hipcamp and let me just say the bar is set high. Suzanne and Jeremy's land is beautiful, and they were amazing hosts. Jeremy took all our gear down in the tractor and Suzzane brought us fresh eggs and veggies for breakfast. The animals were absolutely wonderful. I struggle with anxiety and depression and the therapy horses and chickens, especially MUPPET were just what I needed. Felt extremely safe and welcomed. Also catching a few 4lb bass out of the pond was a sight to behold. I will definitely be back. Thank you Suzanne and Jeremy!!

What a great place to camp! It is very peaceful, secluded, and the hosts are very kind and accommodating! I highly recommend staying here!
One of the best camping sites I've ever done in IL! Suzanne was very helpful and even helped me take all of my things down to the site via her tractor. Although it is a very short hike to the camp sites. Plenty of room to hike on the property and lots of friendly farm animals. The site was very secluded and peaceful!

Suzanne was wonderful! We loved the campsite and appreciated the hospitality/felt safe. She provided us with fresh eggs for breakfast! The horses were sweethearts as well. I will for sure be booking again when I camp again and recommend it.
Suzanne, Jeremy and roommates were AMAZING! I love their property and the work they have put in to it to share with others. They spent so much time with me, teaching me! The horses , chickens (Beta â¤ď¸), stocked pond and mowed paths. Beautiful!
