Our property is located in a small subdivision of Rock Creek, it’s settlement of about 25 to 30 permanent residents, located about 7.5 miles up the S. Fork Rd. from the confluence of the south and middle Forks of the Smith River. , it is only a short (15-20minute) drive from the Hiouchi visitors center, and close to all the Redwoods at the Grove of Titans, Stout Grove and Jedidiah Smith Redwoods State Park, steps away from the South Fork of the pristine Smith River . Escape to your own secluded sanctuary nestled along one of Northern California’s most pristine waterways — the South Fork of the Smith River. Tucked away in Rock Creek, just 7 miles up scenic South Fork Road from the South Fork Bridge, this off-grid retreat offers the perfect blend of rugged nature and essential comforts. There are neighboring properties, we are located on Cedar Street private Road that is adjacent to the S. Fork Rd.. We have a small cabin with a bathroom inside and a sink. We leave the door open for you so you can use it whether you’re attending, pulling in your RV/camper. Public river access located at Sand Camp (1/2 mile down the road) and throughout the river system. No direct public access to river from this property. 🎣 World-Class Fishing — River is very close to the Campsite • Summer: Chase wild cutthroat trout in crystal-clear flows • Fall / Winter: Experience world-class salmon and steelhead fishing that draws anglers from across the country 🏕️ Site Details • Tent camping or RV pull-through available • On-site structure with sink and running cold water • Septic hookup and water hookup available for RVs • Off-grid property — bring your generator • Extremely private and secluded setting 📍 Location & Nearby Adventures Just 30 minutes from Crescent City, you’re perfectly positioned to explore: • 🌊 Kayaking on the Smith River • 🌲 Old-growth Redwood forests (Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park) • 🥾 World-class hiking trails • 🏙 Quick access to Crescent City and Brookings, Oregon Great place to unwind for a couple of nights, get away from the hustle and bustle as this is off grid and there is no self service. You’re welcome to bring a generator. Your pets are more than welcome, and you can make nice campfires at night under the stars.RV or tent camping. Hook up to cold water supply. There is a way to hook up to Septic Systems if you’re staying long-term Toilet and sink with cold running water inside the cabin, and I’ll leave the cabin door unlocked. You may have to push hard to open it. It will be unlocked though. Located in Rock Creek Ranch. It’s a family friendly safe Neighbourhood. There are other HipCamp’s, vacation rentals and big public camping areas close by. Ice cold fresh water throughout the property There are water spigots throughout the property. Working toilet and cold water sink inside the cabin. Off Grid- bring a generator for comfort Public river access located 1/2 mile down the road at Sand Camp, and throughout several spots up and down the river. Unfortunately, there is no direct path to the river from this property Pick blackberries while in season In August you can go to my property on top and pick apples! Thank you for considering a stay at our property. If you come late in the season during October, there is a nice run of salmon that comes up river. World class fishing around October and November for large Chinook. The weather is cold in December and January, a lot of rain so outdoor camping in a tent, not recommended. However, steelhead fishing is off the hook during this time of year so for all the fisherman looking for a good spot to be close to the action, this is it. Thank you for considering the spot. Please remember if you stay here, you’re welcome to access the cabin. There is no shower but bathroom includes full-size toilet and a sink with cold water only.

Bring your own water, purify from river or stream, purify from spigot, purify from hose, purify from tap. Water comes from deer Creek across the mountain via gravity fed water system. It is not filtered, but it is ice cold. Please bring a system.
