With no televisions or generators allowed, this heritage park stands as one of the last authentic tent campgrounds along the Russian River. While primarily designed for tent camping, a select few sites can accommodate small RVs or trailers. Operating continuously since the 1960s, Schoolhouse Canyon Campground is part of the historic Ridenhour ranch, which has been in the family since the 1850s. We invite you to relax and immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of the Russian River Valley. Our campground serves as an ideal base for a variety of outdoor activities, including wine tasting, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and bicycle tours, as well as easy access to the nearby coast.
