Post up right next to the creek, surrounded by tall green grass often filled with turkeys, deer and tons of birds. These private camp sites are nestled back from town and in a quiet and peaceful location. Great for those traveling up the California coast and want a central stopping point. Head north to check out Big Sur or Monterey and south to hit Santa Barabara and LA. Into wine tasting? Drive 30 minutes to Paso Robles for some of the best wine tasting experience on the west coast! Get to Santa Margarita town in about 5 minutes and enjoy Santa Margarita restaurants and other activities. 20 minutes from SLO and 15 minutes from Atascadero. Creekside Camp Site #3

A Bummer

This camping venue, for all the sites at there fell below expectations. For $60 a night I expected a little more. First, it's right off the road so you will hear traffic that rolls by - not horrible by any means but it's definitely not up some winding road off in the wilderness. Secondly, the campsites are pretty much right next to one another. I think it would be helpful if there was a bit more clarity about the nature of these sites. For $60 bucks a night, look elsewhere. Nothing wrong with the hosts, just the sites.

Creekside Campsite #1

Kate was super responsive and the site was easy to find. It was closer to the road than we expected and cars zooming by woke us up in the night, but it was worth it for the babbling brook! The willows provide great shade and privacy from the road, driveway and the other sites.

Such a beautiful spot! Falling asleep to the sound of the creek was so relaxing. Directions were clear and finding the place was so easy. Can't wait to come back :)

We went in mid august and the creek was just perfect for my 3 year old to splash around in. There were plenty of trees to keep us cool. The site was very clean and secluded. Kate was very kind, accommodating, and responded very quickly to questions.

Camping by the creek

Nice camping spot by the creek with clean water. The kids liked playing by the creek. The host Kate was very welcoming and kind.
