This camping venue, for all the sites at there fell below expectations. For $60 a night I expected a little more. First, it's right off the road so you will hear traffic that rolls by - not horrible by any means but it's definitely not up some winding road off in the wilderness. Secondly, the campsites are pretty much right next to one another. I think it would be helpful if there was a bit more clarity about the nature of these sites. For $60 bucks a night, look elsewhere. Nothing wrong with the hosts, just the sites.

Kate was super responsive and the site was easy to find. It was closer to the road than we expected and cars zooming by woke us up in the night, but it was worth it for the babbling brook! The willows provide great shade and privacy from the road, driveway and the other sites.

Such a beautiful spot! Falling asleep to the sound of the creek was so relaxing. Directions were clear and finding the place was so easy. Can't wait to come back :)

We went in mid august and the creek was just perfect for my 3 year old to splash around in. There were plenty of trees to keep us cool. The site was very clean and secluded. Kate was very kind, accommodating, and responded very quickly to questions.

This site had such great energy and my four friends and I loved it. It is definitely a small site but we only set up one tent for 2 people and the other 3 slept outside. I strongly recommend bringing ambiance like a mat and string lights, it really transforms the space.

Kate's Creek side camp spot was great. The drive to the property was beautiful , and hering the creek trickling by at night was perfect for a relaxing evening. Kate communicated well and the property was easy to find.

I recently had the pleasure of camping at this charming Hipcamp site nestled beside a seasonal creek. It was a truly serene and rejuvenating experience.
Activities: Close to the quaint town of Santa Margarita, which has several restaurants, wine tasting at Ancient Peaks and a cool zip line course at Margarita adventures. The location is also near Santa Margarita Lake which has some wonderful hiking trails as well as additional camping sites.
The hosts of this Hipcamp location were friendly and accommodating. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the overall experience, making me feel welcome and valued as a guest.
If you're seeking a serene escape surrounded by nature's wonders, this Hipcamp location is definitely worth considering for a peaceful and rejuvenating camping experience.

We loved the camping spot we had right on the creek! It's tucked back into a nook of trees so it makes it feel very private and cozy! Kate was a wonderful communicator and made the whole process really easy. There is so much potential with their property and we'll be excited to go back and visit again to see all that they do with it!

We enjoyed the sound of the running creek and the quiet we experienced. The location wasn't too far out of the way from the town of San Margarita and San Margarita lake. Our host was accommodating and friendly and the camp spot was comfortable. We brought our own table and portable toilet which worked out well.
