This is peak California coastal camping, just off of Highway 1 near Manresa State Beach and within a short distance of Santa Cruz beaches, Monterey County state parks, and top spots in Watsonville. Campers can choose from beach-themed tent camping with fire rings and picnic tables; roomy, 50-amp RV sites with full hookups; cozy Airstreams for glamping getaways; and pet-friendly cabins with BBQ grills. The KOA campground is best suited for family camping trips with onsite bike rentals, a year-round playground with sandy play areas, an outdoor movie theater, a dog park, and outdoor games galore—think bocce ball, volleyball, basketball, cornhole, and more. Other notable beach camping amenities include wifi, a camp store, and easy access to miles of Monterey Peninsula hiking trails, Pebble Beach golf courses, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
