We discovered this land at the beginning of the pandemic and were captivated by the San Jacinto Mountain and the surrounding mountain formations that resemble planets like Mars in color and formation, along with Mars' high winds. The flashing red lights from the wind turbines at night additionally provide a magical experience. Learn more about this land: 2.5 acres of raw desert land, North Palm Springs / Desert Hot Springs, on the way to Joshua tree. 15 min to downtown Palm Springs and 35 min to Joshua Tree. Plenty of wild animals run through through here, such as jackrabbits, lizards, possibly coyotes and snakes. The best time of the year to enjoy this outdoor space is September through May, given your tolerance to heat.
