After spending most of my life living in big cities and working in the Fashion & Beauty industries, I decided it was time to pursue my dream of having horses on a somewhat secluded ranch. I chose Sonoma County and roughly 18 months ago, signed on the dotted line. I named my ranch La Candelaria, inspired by a horse and polo ranch in Argentina that I visited years ago with my BFF. It is a magical place and I hope to create a California version over the coming years. I'm graced to be cohabiting here with my 2 horses, 5 Scottish Highland cows, 2 llamas, 6 sheep, 20 crazy but adorable chickens and 20 or so little goats. I've cultivated a 5000 olive tree farm as well and hope to be producing oil in 2017. The vibe here is active around the barn and small farmhouse (2 acres or so), but serene and therapeutic on rest of the property. Its close enough to Petaluma that you can run in for the essentials but the property is definitely in the country. I want to share this piece of paradise with others who also need to experience nature, quiet, and the ability to roam the countryside. There's 100 acres so you can pick your own territory, terrain and then sleeping accommodations that suit you. Looking forward to meeting you soon! - Jani
