It took almost three hours for the host to respond to me when I was trying to figure out where to park. The spots are not marked and there is not electricity like it’s advertised.

Very rural, dirt and vegetation space, needed leveling. Quiet with roaming cats. Strongly recommend a surge protector, as multiple rigs plugged into one electric pole. Easy in and out.

Everything worked out great for us. We showed up very late, and they were still there to help us get things sorted. Would very much camp here again.

Ramona was great! She had the personal touch. Checked in on us, took us with her to feed the cows, took us to her almond tree to collect almonds. It wouldn’t be for everyone due to compost toilets (which she kept spotless I might add and there was no smell!), no showers but we loved the ‘back to nature’ experience. She was a character too 😁

Sites are in a large flat dirt area. Host John was very accommodating and has a vision to improve sites. Weekend nights were mostly quiet after neighbors music died down by midnight. Would be a good spot for the right situation....(in our case sporting events in Riverdale and Caruthers). Not too far from Hwy 41.
Good luck to John snd his mom on future plans for the property !

Lovely surroundings, flat surface, friendly neighbors. All you could ask for! If you're not afraid of roughing it a little bit, this is a fine affordable spot to stay

Although it was easy to get to and level, there wasn't any type of things that were mentioned in the ad like the fresh produce, herbs and farmlike market.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at John's place. Although the place is a work in progress (they are currently working on many upgrades for visitors), it was a quiet and interesting place. John and his family members were so welcoming and helpful, not only helping me to back up and set up, but made sure I felt safe and had what I needed for the evening. You camp next to the cows, chickens, pigs, ducks (and more) and it was so interesting learning about the farm and the area. If you have kids, they will love this place!

Great spot to park my Van and camp for the night while driving through from Oregon to San Diego. Between Jobsites.

John and his mom were super friendly and accommodating water and electric were available. Had a chance to see a bit of their place and see almond harvest process. Easy to find.
