Camping with no gear required
We booked the tent but it had fallen down so it wasn't available but she gave us a very pleasant alternative for the night complete with two hammocks for my daughter and I and a couple of cozy cots. She was very kind and an excellent conversationalist! Also, my daughter enjoyed it so much she didn't want to leave. I would certainly recommend staying at her camp!

Unplug In a Pine Forest!
This place was sooo cool! It’s a completely off grid set up. The owner, Donna, is super kind and a great conversationalist! She has the cutest dog, Buddy that makes you feel like family. I’m so grateful I came across this spot. Thanks again Donna & Buddy!

Donna's place had a relaxed homey feeling. The pine tree forest was beautiful! She is off the grid and her place is quiet and I slept great in the big tent with the most comfortable bed in it!

Donna is an amazing host! The site was perfect for us! Very quiet, clean and fun! The goats are adorable and Buddy is the best yard pup. The shower and bathroom were reliable and clean. Donna went above and for us and we are definitely returning to her site!

Unplug In a Pine Forest!
We enjoyed our stay in the pine forest! First time taking our son (5yr) camping and he loved it! The camp came equipped with a fire ring, table and chairs, a gallon of rainwater, clorox wipes, and a little charcoal grill. There is plenty of tinder around to feed the fire. We brought a truck tent with an attachment and were able to back into the site. A freestanding tent would have been able to camp a little deeper into the property for a little more privacy. Donna has goats pinned up on the property who free roam twice a day, and a guardian dog, Buddy, who loves pets. There is an on-demand hot shower, composting toilet, and a slow charging station. Otherwise it is a primitive site which is what we were looking for. Donna is an amazing host and was very accommodating for us and our pup. We got some farm fresh eggs for breakfast and we enjoyed petting the goats!

We camped here in a 28 foot fifth wheel and had no problem getting there. Because we are in an RV, we parked up front. We loved it! There are goats running around, a big gorgeous, friendly dog watching over all of us and a beautiful pond across the street. The tent sites are beautiful and secluded in the woods. Donna was a great host and also very friendly, we really enjoyed hanging out with her. Highly recommend!

Exceptional lil place! Donna is an incredible host and has the best furry baby ever! Goats, a view of the pond and a super friendly host. A nice break to slow down while working over the road, just unfortunately, I had to end my stay and move closer to where I was working due to gas. However, an overall awesome place!

Donna was an amazing host! Her place is right where I needed to be, surrounded by nature and the rain. Her dog Buddy was the nicest pup and even met me out in the road to flag me down and guide into the property. Follow the directions and it'll get you there just fine but Buddy leads you the rest of the way. I wish Donna the best on her adventure and can't wait to see how her property develops in the future. I'll be visiting again!

Donna's Hipcamp is a work in progress. There are items waiting to be installed, but the area with the tent and bed, as stated in her description, was already setup. It is in the pines and the camp is just as described. The tent and bed were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the sea themed comforter and the throw pillows on the bed! I used my own stove and utensils for cooking as they are not provided. Provided is a table and chairs, and a charcoal BBQ. There is a fire pit with supplied wood. There are 2 LED solar back packing type (blow up) lights for you to use. I recomend using a 'headlight' type flash light. They work great and leave your hands free. Donna is friendly, and seems to like what she is doing. Looking west down the short driveway you can watch the sun set over the neighbors pond. It's a nice view. And with the ponds nearby, there is plenty of wildlife. And then there's Buddy, the 7 month old Great Pyrenees dog. He is a great watch dog, and will bark when someone new comes onto the property. The rest of the time he is quiet and just doing his thing. This spot would make a great base camp for the area.

If you like being under the stars and middle of one of God’s forest. A fire pit. Hot demand shower there is only we didn’t need to use it, one night we stayed and outdoor restroom. She has goats to keep you company. Very peaceful while we were there. Donna was there to greet us and show us around. Very friendly and warm. Very good with directions and giving you sightseeing information.

It had been 20 years since I had been camping and my 15 year old daughter had never been before. She is a sassy city girl. This was PERFECT for us to get a taste of camping without having to invest a lot of time or money. All we had to was just show up and the campsite was ready. We had a blast and would definitely do it again! Highly recommend!!!

Donna's place had everything you need for a peaceful weekend away in the woods. We enjoyed the company of her and the 3 goat kids(Miss Rosy, Lightning and Pete).I also liked how Donna built a completely sustainable place that would allow you to connect with nature. The tents are perfect for first time campers like me who want a good camping experience. They also had some sites you cam reserve and get your own tents.
Donna is an amazing hostess and would make sure you have everything you need, even a great educational conversation if you wanted and her goats are very friendly and will let you per them if you like. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and will visit again

Rustic spot for a nice layover. Was met by Donna’s helper, Sean, who was great. Camping spot was nicely setup with fire pit, some firewood and several places where I could pitch a tent. Had great conversations with Sean and learned some new ideas for off grid living. Some areas were still in transition, however, was an overall nice location. Would recommend if you are looking for a simple, quiet place away.

A nice pine forest location. Serene, a campfire ring and tame goats roam the property. No issues with goats, they were there when the host greeted me, didn't see them the rest of the stay. If you don't mind a very rustic setting, its a nice spot.

The campsite is on a wooded property with friendly resident goats. It was quiet except for the geese flying in to a pond across the road. They quieted down once they got settled and the sun went down. Basic site with firepit, chairs, table and places to pitch a tent or park camper. The host is in the process of making some improvements. Off the beaten path, but Google Maps led me right to the property. I would stay here again, if I pass through this area.

Donna was a friendly and interesting host, as were her three adorable goats who entertained us in the morning with their sweet and comical antics. Donna was gracious about our late arrival and her site did the trick as a place to pitch our tents and crash after a long day of travel. The posting is just as it claims and shows, so don't pick this spot if you need amenities, but do pick it if you're looking for a unique experience!

Donna was an amazing host and the site was tucked away in such a beautiful area. It was storming when we arrived and Donna went above and beyond to make our stay - and the following morning - a joy. She's a lovely person to talk to and the goats are adorable as well.
