What a beautiful, peaceful stay I had! Perfect setting, perfect hosts and all the beautiful things at your front "yurt". Just book it already! It's amazing and close to everything! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Awesome location! Very secluded! Surrounded by awesome spots to fish, hike, swim, or float, all within 10 miles! The set up of camp was perfect, made camping enjoyable with the kids! Awesome amenities offered and the host are some of the nicest people we've met! GREAT WITH KIDS!

The glamping tent was beautiful! The land and settlement was so well maintained. Katherine and her husband were super friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms were super clean . It was a perfect get away weekend for my daughter and I . If I had to describe my experience I would say , “ the luxuries of a top rated hotel in the woods “. They thought of everything . Coffee ,tea, cups , water bottles, firewood ,Wi-Fi ,silverware , walking trials, shampoo and towel service! . I would highly recommend this place ! Simply Beautiful 😍

Our stay was wonderful! The weather was rainy but it made for such a peaceful, cool weekend stay. We stayed dry and the accommodations might have spoiled us as tent campers. Katherine has definitely thought of all the details and we couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. From the stocked coffee bar, provided *dry* firewood, and the super clean and private bathhouses, we were extremely pleased!!!

Katherine was very attentive and accommodating. My original tent was damaged a few days prior to my arrival from a storm. When she called she already had alternative options for my stay. She provided me with a neighbors cabin down the road, which was a perfect wilderness bungalow. We arrived at 4 am in the morning and she meet us at the site to welcome us and provide the keys. Other friends stayed in her tents which were immaculately clean, and plenty of firewood. Would definitely recommend!

The tent was so cute and everything inside worked great and was so clean. The shower house is spacious and does not feel like a usual campsite shower house. Katherine was very accommodating and got us extra coffee, even let us borrow a shovel for the campfire that we forgot to pack. Fire wood was provided and was such a nice amenity so we didn’t have to purchase any. This was like camping but without a lot of the hard work that comes along with setting up the tent and having to keep food cold. We would highly recommend!

Katherine went above and beyond our expectations! She communicated very thoroughly before we arrived, making sure to meet us when we arrived to guide us to our tent. Our group of 6 fit in the tent with 2 bunk beds with plenty of room. The bathrooms are AMAZING, even having temperature controls. Everything needed for a shower is provided, allowing you to pack less! We were in the tent furthest from the bathrooms but it only took about a minute to walk between. The water is clean with no funny taste. She even provides wagons to transport your things when arriving and leaving.
I actually ended up spraining my ankle on the first night, so I looked for a wrap to give my ankle support for our hike the next day. When I couldn’t find one in the first aid kit, Katherine went out to the store to bring me a wrap AND ice. Katherine was incredibly helpful the entire time!
Overall, this was an amazing experience that we all want to return to!

The Wilderness
This place is so beautiful-in the forest, quiet, plenty of firewood great barbecue grill and the tent is amazing, with excellent bathrooms. Hot shower -towels, flushing toilets. Katherine and her husband were very accommodating and checked in with us when we got there

My best friend and I stayed in the Sunshine tent. It was soooooo relaxing. The tent and bath house were clean, all the accommodations were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, I slept so well. Despite the rain , we had a wonderful time. Tom was so helpful and friendly. Katherine was great at communicating with me. The directions were so easy. I will definitely be back for another stay!!

First off, I chose to stay here because of the bathroom reviews. It was the first time taking my gf camping who hadn’t camped since being a child and I wanted her to enjoy the experience while having a real bathroom. (So she will camp again lol) They truly are the cleanest bathrooms ever. Cedar lined, not even a bug spotted the entire stay in them and appeared to get cleaned daily. Brand new showers and the building is heated as well. They provide towels if you need them as well.
10 out of 10 on the bathrooms!
We utilized one of the dispersed tent sites on our stay and it was amazing. Each site is nestled into its own area where you really can’t see anyone else. Very well maintained trail system through the woods to each campsite. Had a nicely built rock fire pit and they brought a fresh stack of Firewood and Pot of Water to the site each day. They have a friendly dog (Dolly) who loved attention when around the community areas which we loved!
10 out of 10 on the site!
Only thing I would note is because the sites are all spread out through the woods, setting up camp took a couple trips if you don’t pack extremely light. We brought a large tent and camp grill along with a small camp kitchen so we had to do three trips down to the site which was fine, I would have probably packed a tad differently had I realized I couldn’t pull the car right up to the site. They do have carts to help get items to the site which was great.
I highly highly recommend and we will stay again!

I had an amazing experience with Tom & Katherine at Buffalo River Glamping! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how beautiful the accommodations were. The tent itself was so cozy and stylish, with a perfect mix of rustic charm and luxurious touches. The tents are spaced to give you a sense of privacy. And the view from the tent? Absolutely peaceful.
Every amenity you could think of was covered — from a fully stocked kitchenette, activities to keep you entertained on a rainy day. The bathroom facilities were lavish and provided any of the items you may have forgotten to pack.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They've created the perfect getaway—beautiful, cozy, and full of all the comforts of home, right in the heart of nature with easy access to outdoor adventures!
All in all, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s the perfect mix of nature and comfort, and I’ll definitely be back!

Absolute perfection! They really thought of everything! Tom was the best, even brought us extra coffee to our tent when he realized we were coffee drinkers and Katherine was so great at communicating even while she was out of town! Everything was super clean and cozy, the property is beautiful and conveniently located for all the hiking trails and Buffalo River activities. To top it all off, the bathrooms are impeccable… clean, warm and fully stocked w any essentials you may have left behind! I’m literally already planning my next trip back with another group in a couple of weeks and it’s a 9 hour drive for us… haven’t even been back a week and seriously can’t wait to return! 💜💜

Our weekend getaway to The Wilderness at Buffalo Glamping was fantastic. Katherine and Tom were great hosts taking care of everything. Directions, a warm welcome, help getting set up, replenished firewood every day, impressively clean bathrooms and showers. You name it, it was taken care of. Could not think of anything we'd want done differently. Our four boys are already asking when we're going back!

The Sunrise
Perfect! Glamping experience that allowed pets. Everything was beautiful and setup was amazing. The tent, comfortable bed, mini fridge, towels, hospitality, cleaned bathrooms, and property were all perfect. We had a very relaxed, and peaceful getaway. We just got married and this was the perfect place to enjoy some nature together. Just what we needed! Tom was amazing! Great host! and nice person, and thank you Katherine for being so communicative. We can’t wait to be back again!!
If you’re looking for a relax getaway. This is the spot in Arkansas if you’re ever in the Ponca area. Tom & Katherine are great hosts!!

The Sunrise
Everything will exceed your expectations! Normally when you go on a camping trip something is always amiss, but when you glamp here everything is covered. Katherine & Tom have thought everything through to make sure your experience will be amazing and our stay here was just that! I have to say - I have never seen a cleaner bathroom facility on all my camping/glamping trips. This stay was definitely a 5 star rating.

We loved staying at Buffalo glamping! Tom was super kind, welcomed us late at night, and showed us the way to the tent and everything we needed to know. He also made great suggestions for trails and things to do. The tent was equipped with EVERYTHING you need and more! Restrooms were also super clean and equipped.

The entire place and experience was amazing. Tom and Katherine are very gracious hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We tent camped and the spots are nicely spaced apart where you can’t even see the next tent spot. Next time we want to stay in one of their glamping tents, they look comfy. The bathroom/shower house was the nicest I think I have ever used at a campground.

This spot is amazing! Katherine was a great host who knew the area and was able to give good recommendations for adventures. The tents are very well built and the entire property is well taken care of. The shower house with 4 showers and restrooms are top notch and very well taken care of. If you are looking to stay in this area I definitely recommend this spot.

My sister and I brought my two boys camping for the first time and had a great time! Highlights included sleeping on a real bed, our own grill, and a hot shower! Everything was super clean and thoughtful, including outlets in our tent and a coffee bar/mini-fridge. I highly recommend glamping here! We can’t wait to come back!
