Such an amazing trip! The site was totally private and absolutely serene. We had our own private trail down to a creek which had another trail extending a long way along the creek as well. We were well shaded at our site but there was also a big opening in the center of the trees that was perfect for stargazing. Pre-built fire pits were on site and the land was well managed. Highly recommend for a weekend away!

We enjoyed our stay. Had most of the space to ourselves and just got to enjoy the quiet woods and open grassy areas.
We couldnât find the potable water but thankfully didnât need it for our quick 1 night visit.

The trail to the creek was beautiful and it was fun walking in the creek. The campsite was private with a nice fire pit for us to use. There was one other campsite being used but we couldnât see each other unless we chose to.

The absolute highlight for my husband and I was the gorgeous river just a short walk from our campsite. There was a nice functional fire pit set up we were able to cook breakfast and dinner on. We felt very safe as well because it is close to the town but not so close that we could see or hear them. Very sweet oasis in the middle of Phoenix city.

I absolutely LOVED staying here! Even though I only stayed for one day, I was able to enjoy the beautiful creek and a rainy evening, which was incredibly peaceful. Delaine is so sweet and inviting! Iâm glad I was able to meet her in person. This was my first time doing primitive camping, but I felt very safe and at ease! I was on campsite 3, and even with other campers at the other 2 campsites I felt like it was still private. Everything was clean and welcoming. I am planning on coming back some time to spend a whole weekend or more here. Thank you for a great experience!

Nice large open field that backs up to a tree line. Lots of firewood provided on site, level spot to put up my tent, nice fire ring. I was the only camper there and it felt wonderfully private. Would definitely stay again.

So awesome that they keep firewood out there. We were able to find everything we needed. I recommend site 2 or 3 so you are in the middle of the space and have a bit more privacy

Great well kept area for our van. We filled up our water the next morning. Delaine supplied cooking stuff, fire pit area and chairs. Unfortunately we got in too late to enjoy it, but it was great to see. She was easy to communicate with also. Would stay again.

Me and my husband wanted a weekend getaway to camp and Delaine's property definitely was it! She's a wonderful hostess. The property is nice, beautiful and super peaceful. Each camp site is separated, numbered and each has their own fire pit and open put to grill and have a beautiful little fire. She also has firewood there on the site to use. The creek behind the property is absolutely beautiful. I wanted to try it out before bringing our children and can't wait to bring them soon! This site is worth every penny. Thank you, Delaine!

I can not say enough about Delaine, her wonderful family and her beautiful land. It was a peaceful retreat with a short stroll down a personal trail to a cute little stream! Delaine was so sweet and caring and the absolute perfect host! Iâm trying to figure out ways I can go back already!

4th time there. Always an awesome experience!! Delanie is a super host!! She even fed us dinner and it was fabulous! If you are looking for privacy and convenience of shopping,etc close by,,this is the place to camp. So much to see.!! We will be back

It's not a destination, with no amenities, and not really a convenient stopover, being pretty far off any major road. I believe I-85 was the closest major road, but myself I try to avoid interstate travel when towing. Highways 431 ,US 27 were miles from Lee County Road 240 and I-85 and I-185 were as well.

OK for an overnight on the way to somewhere else.
That's all I wanted. Had it to myself but wouldn't have mattered.
Coming from Smith Station the right turn is kind of sharp and the mailbox is close to the entry so I went about a mile up the road and turned around and came in from the other direction.

Delaine was an amazing host, very responsive with great communication. Her land is beautiful, flat, and open. There are 3 well marked sites with fire rings and toilets provided. She also allowed us access to her water spigot, which was much appreciated. If you have kids, this site is safe and easy to explore!

This is a great campground at the back of a nice property surrounded by woods and a nice picturesque creek. It would be perfect for a family stay for multiple days. My dogs were super happy.
Only negatives if I get nick picky was a bit of background road noise and some neighbor dogs that came by to say hello. They were friendly and happy so it wasnât an issue with my dogs, or for me.

10/10 would stay here again. Perfect local weekend getaway with plenty of firewood. Delaine provided everything you could need and left us to ourselves. Nice creek a stoneâs throw away from the site

Highly recommend this place to camp! Delaine is super kind! Very welcoming and went above and beyond. The campsites are flat and spread apart very nicely and the trail is great! Close to gas stations and stores. I ended up staying a second night and will definitely be going back if I'm in the area!

Overall a great experience for my wife and I. We happened to have the site to ourselves which made it enjoyable to have solitude. The site is cleared out for easy setup, with a fire-pit and firewood already in place. Right behind the tent site is a pretty creek with crystal clear water which was awesome for our dog to play in and to just cool off.
Things to consider:
- The site is an hour from Providence Canyon, rather than nearby.
- There are 3 sites spread approximately 20 yards from one another. If it was fully booked it would have been a different experience. Though, the tent placement is nestled into the wood line (5 yards) so you arenât in the open.
- The site is a clearing behind a residence (approx. 100 yards) , surrounded by trees.
- There are a few fast food chains within 5 minutes of the site as well as general commerce.
- This would be a good site to try camping out with the little ones in the beginning stages.
