Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
Hilltop parking area with water spigot and electrical hookup and sewer hookup. Lots of tall trees around and a creek at the bottom of the hill. The whole property is 3 acres and it’s the only site on the property.A quiet little hilltop clearing you can rest and relax in while watching the sun go down over the hills. There’s a creek down at the bottom of the hill if you feel like a hike.
Rig suitability
Vehicles under 24 feet allowed
It’s a tight turn around at the top of the hill. There’s a steep drop off at the edge where the trees start so don’t go over the edge. It’s nice a quiet though and there’s a creek at the bottom of the hill is you feel like a hike.
Allowed rigs: pop-up campers, class B RVs, class C RVs, campervans, cars, truck campers, and rooftop tents
I’ve pulled a travel trailer up there before but it’s tight. I recommend nothing tow behind that’s longer than 20’ but you can probably turn around a 30’ class C and van camping is no problem. A 40’ class A class A might struggle because of the hill getting up the driveway, so no Class A.
Back-in site
You’ll enter the parking area on the right hand side when you come up the driveway. You’ll want to turn around and back up to have your rig positioned where you can reach the hookups which are on the back of the lot.
Accommodates slideouts
Surface type: Grass or field
Surface levelness: Requires leveling
There’s gravel under the grass but it’s grown in. Don’t run over the power hookup in the back left corner and there’s a septic tank just to the left of the pole so don’t run over that or you’ll fall off the cliff.
No class A RVs, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and toy haulers

Electrical hookup available
50 amps. I believe it has outlets for 50, 30, and a regular 120 extension cord. You’ll need to turn on the breaker after plugging in.
Water hookup available
On-site hookup. Water is in the right hand side corner by the embankment.
Sewage hookup available
On-site hookup. Sewer is near the power pole
Generators allowed
There’s power available but if you want a generator then that’s ok too.
No TV hookup
If you are renting long term, you can have internet access turned on through Coosa Valley Tech.

Campfires allowed
Bring your own campfire is ok. Don’t leave trash , don’t burn the woods down. If you leave a mess you’ll have to pay for cleanup.

On leash. The property is not fenced and there are other neighborhood dogs that sometimes occasionally roam. So far I’ve only met friendly ones but probably better to keep your dogs close just in case they don’t get along.

Potable water available
Spigot. Blue frost proof spigot in the right hand corner by the bank

Pack it out
Cooking equipment absent
