Katie is always so helpful!
We always love coming to Katie's land. Aside from the amazing property, Katie is very helpful with things like letting us come fill up our water container at her home. And we got the bonus of getting to meet her son's adorable dog, Paisley! Can't wait to go back again soon!

lovely host and site
i been to 100s campsites over the years of this life style but never once came to face the host that so genuinely charming and nice like her. she’s showed us around and tell us the history of what’s around. this place is gorgeous with Creek surrounded your site. even though we got rained on but we had a great time. we will come back once the forest get thicker!.

Secluded and quiet
Katie was an amazing host! She took her time showing me the lay of the land. I will absolutely stay again. The property was secluded and quiet. I seen bald eagles , water fowl, geese, deer and a beaver all from my camp spot!!

Goose Creek Lost Acre
What a cool place if you're truly in to primitive camping. A high circle of ground looking over the water. Plenty of wildlife. The fire pit was just fine, dug it out a bit and reset the stone as it's still winter and hadn't been used. I did end up sleeping in the car because it was too cold for the tent. I was prepared for either scenario. Definitely need AWD or 4x4 to drive in. Trains were not an issue, sitting by the fire or sleeping. I'd definitely go back again.

My first time winter camping and Katie's property was perfect for it! So much wildlife even in the winter: deer, coyotes, turkeys, etc. Can't wait to go back again soon!
