Kangamia is a beautiful re-vegetated permaculture-style property planted over 35 years. Plantings include; Two hardwood timber plantations, a beautiful oak grove, a lovely olive grove, a bambooserie, citrus and macadamia orchards, and of course, the picturesque dam. The property is home to amazing bird life and absolute tranquility. Our location also offers the most magical starry skies on a clear night. It's a total escape from the worries of the world. Well-behaved four-legged friends are allowed to stay too! Just please ensure they don't don't chase the wildlife or our sheep.Dam View Bamboo Site is a picturesque and private location surrounded by shade trees, open areas, olive trees, a dam view, bamboo grove, abundant bird life and flat areas for tents and caravans. The property is also our home, so we expect you to respect our privacy and not walk around near our house up the hill from the campsite. There is also a second house on the property which is another private space.

Swags and Hags beautiful getaway
An amazing girls night away on Lisa's property we loved the site super private and so relaxing under the stars will definitely return with family lisa provided us with local info and the site was perfect 😊🫶🏽🫶🏽

Loved camping on the property. The view was amazing. We were able to be isolated without bothering anyone. The owners came to see us at the beginning & then left us alone. Would highly recommend & we will return.

Cosy Caravan in Nature
Caravan was cosy and clean. Bed was nice. Linen on bed was clean. However general maintenance was poor. Cupboards had broken latches so wouldn’t stay closed. No forks in cutlery drawer. Gas lighter had no gas. Instead there were matches. A cigarette lighter to light the stoves which was unsafe. Windows would not shut completely so we had a cold drought blowing on us. We arrived on Monday 8th and left Wednesday 10th. The host made no effort to meet us. Hipcamp listing should be more clear with regards to location of toilet and shower which was outside in a seperate building. Another composting toilet was outside in a pop up tent. Caravan looks much better in pictures than in real life. So would not recommend to friends. Better facilities may be found fo the same cost at other locations.

Great location down by the dam, amongst the trees. V private - our own bit of paradise. Loads of birdlife. Lovely welcome from Lisa. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved Dam view. Peaceful, private and an excellent spot for our Rottweiler Tank. Lisa was great, came down to say hello and make sure we were ok. Balingup town has a relaxed vibe with good food and places to explore. Highly recommend
