Site 1 - Edge of Tranquility at Wattle Farm
Waterside camping with dogs!
The hosts are lovely - super easy communications!
We camped Easter 2024 on campsite 1 with multiple vans and tents and it was great!
Fully grassed, expansive views over the water and abundant bird life.
We brought our boat along which we were able to moor just off the jetty (water is relatively shallow a long way out so would not suit a boat with a deep draft though)
We took our dogs - who had a ball and did plenty of swimming! Perfect spot for stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming in the warmer weather. We cooked up a feast over the campfire one night with wood provided by the hosts. There is a little jetty which is great to use and took some amazing pictures.
Fishing was awesome - out in the boat, about 300m to 1500m from the shoreline, we trawled silver lures and caught Taylor and Australian Salmon ( we maxed out bag limits!!!)
We loved hanging out with the young kelpie dog ‘Kika’ that the hosts were caring for at the time - she tired our dogs out entirely from all the running around and swimming!

Great Spot and Hosts
A great location right on the lakes. Lots of fun for the kids in and out of the water (they got to paddle with dolphins!). Graeme and Carol are fantastic and friendly hosts and generously share their beautiful property. Will definitely be back.

Great site. Very spacious other campers near by but didn't hear them.
Plenty of room to kick the football. Great views of the lake.

Great spot! Very quiet and tranquil space. Trees provided great protection from the wind. Very well sign posted and easy to find! We will be back!!

Site 1 - Edge of Tranquility at Wattle Farm
Graeme and Carol were amazing hosts, and the camping set up was fantastic for our families and dogs. Being on the water we were able to have our boat and Sup boards and catch plenty of fish. Can't wait to go there again.
