Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Kookaburra Ridge offers lots of space for you to choose the ideal camping spot. Take advantage of dam views or if you prefer, choose a spot that is more sheltered to sit back, relax and unwind. Our property also offers a variety of bush tracks, that you are welcome to explore. Our dam is home to a platypus that comes out morning and late afternoon for a play. “please don't feed him” as there is plenty of food in the dam. Campers must be fully self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are allowed if there are no fire restrictions, and you are welcome to collect any fallen kindling from around the property. we also welcome Pets, but as our neighbours have livestock, please ensure they are kept restrained and under your control at all times, and please clean up after your pets.Kookaburra Ridge offers lots of space for you to choose the ideal camping spot. Kookaburra Ridge - Bridport
Awesome Spot in the dry!!
Great spot absolutely loved it, could have easily stayed longer. A little tough to get level by the dam but we got there. Only like 4 bookings at one time, wish more hip camps stayed quiet like these! Only downfall and to no fault of the owner was if u know it’s going to rain maybe bail out, the road in and out when wet is dangerously slippery especially with a caravan on, could get boggy too after enough traffic.

Peaceful break.
Very peaceful stay. Found a great flat spot and stayed 3 of our 4 nights. We saw there was bad weather coming and didn’t want to risk any problems with getting out of the campsite. We have been caught in the past on the mainland. Plenty of room for our small dog to play as well.

Tranquillity plus
OMG the place is amazing! So well set out you can set up all your gear & still be a good distance from other campers. The view, the tranquillity, close enough to Bridport if you need supplies & we were lucky to have fantastic weather also. Patrice went above & beyond to make some last minute arrangements for us. An awesome host. Was hard to leave, will definitely be back.

Great spot! We are already looking to book another stay. Property is exceptionally neat, one of the best hipcamps to date. Platypus sightings were a special bonus !

Great spot. Nice and quiet dam side camp to enjoy the reflections. Just a short drive to Bridport and surrounds
