Nestled on the shores of Ducklake this 2 acre parcel is an ideal location to kick back , enjoy and explore the eastern side of Glacier park. We are 20 mins from the park gates, 20 mins from Many Glacier and about 40 mins to Waterton park. The gradual sloping beach is perfect for all kinds of water sports and recreation. Many grassed areas or shady treed sites and the sites on the beach with breathtaking sunrises, sunsets and most amazing stars at night. Ducklake is well known for its trophy rainbow trout as well. We have 4 kayaks, a canoe, paddle boat, little fishing boat with electric motor, an assortment of rods and lures, propane BBQ, solo smokeless campfire pits ( firewood can be purchased on site) and propane fire pits. All for guest to enjoy and use on a first come first serve basis.

I enjoyed my stay here! I was traveling in a campervan and exploring Many Glaciers, which was a 35ish minute drive to Many Glacoer hotel parking lot. I chose this spot for the amenities as a warm shower and a clean portapotty comes in handy! I also used the microwave which they have available for use.
Abby was very attentive and helpful.

Spectacular. This is a destination within a destination. Ridiculous views, comfortable spot and great amenities. We really could not have asked for more. If you like to fish they have the at. If you want to kayak they have that. If you need a hot shower, they have that. Scoot into the park come back to base camp- great spot for that too.

This was a lovely place to stay for our visit to Glacier. Abby & Anna did a great job at making us feel welcome and comfortable while still allowing us privacy. They were willing to go above and beyond to ensure a positive stay for their visitors, and they always had great advice on things to do at the park (including Waterton as well!). I also want to note that we are a queer couple and we felt very safe and welcome at this HipCamp. We are always a little hesitant to book places with hosts on site because we are not sure if we will be emotionally/physically safe, so I want to include it here in case there are any other queer couples looking at the reviews to see if they would feel safe here. Based on our experience, yes, you would!
For tent campers, there are a few options to choose from. We were really happy being able to be in the trees with privacy and a little room to spread out. For RV/Van campers, there is plenty of space down by the water that make for a great view.
Being on the lake, we were a little worried about wind. I will note that it did get windy a few nights. We were there in mid-September, so we understand that it was close to the end of the season. Even with the wind, we were quite comfortable. And the view is absolutely amazing!!
It was nice having access to the showers, microwave, and other spaces. They did a great job keeping everything clean. We would definitely stay here again - it was great!

Abby and Anna were very accommodating and friendly. The site was beautiful. The shower was nice, they had plenty of firewood for sale, and they had great suggestions for local hikes. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway in Glacier.

We give this camp 11/10. It’s a beautiful property, and Abby and Anna are the most gracious and welcoming hosts ever. They make the camp feel like a community where everyone belongs. Ok, I have to confess that when we left this morning I kind of teared up. What can I say but that we absolutely loved our stay with Abby and Anna! Not only is it the most wonderful location on Duck Lake with a gorgeous view of Glacier, but they both are the most lovely and gracious couple ever!! We enjoyed being close to the park and had a great adventure going to Waterton Lakes in Canada where we did an incredible hike to Wall Lake. Highly recommend as it is not nearly as crowded as Glacier. Spent our last day just relaxing at the lake and fishing from their great little boat with an electric motor. Caught so many beautiful trout and even had one for dinner! Ten stars…we can’t wait to return someday!

The view was incredible, the hospitality was even better. Abby and Anna were the sweetest and most attentive hosts. They made sure I had everything I needed and checked on me. I was traveling alone so having friendly people to talk to back at camp was such a huge bonus! Also the outdoor shower with hot water was just incredible. Having paddleboards and kayaks I could use on the lake at their property was so fun!

This was our first ever stay at a Hipcamp, and it set a high bar. The owners were welcoming and the amenities exceeded our expectations. The other guests were friendly. Drive times to east side entrances to Glacier National Park were reasonable. We had no issues driving and parking our Class B camper van to or on the property, although a good stretch of the drive was unpaved. We would stay there again.

We enjoyed camping at Abby and Anna's lakeside grass campsite. The lake was beautiful and hosts were helpful and friendly with checking in on us. The site has a hot shower, a shed with microwave and fridge, campfire rings, firewood for purchase, and a clean porta-potty.

What a great spot! Duck Lake is beautiful and so are Abby and Anna the hosts! Location is close to Glacier and Waterton. Road getting in is a little rough but the camp makes up for it! Parked on the rocky beach. Had electric and shower room (really nice!). Hosts were interactive, very accommodating and just great people to meet on our camping journey!

Abby and Anna were the very best hosts! Abby was super attentive. We didn't expect 3 days of rain and our tent was a wet mess! Abby to the rescue with a tent heater. Whatever you need Abby probably has it and willing to loan it to you. Anna was super attentive to keeping the port-o-potty and shower super clean. It's out in the middle of nowhere so come prepared-ish and enjoy the views.

Abby and Anna go above and beyond to provide an incredible experience for their guests. I was doing a solo trip with 3 kiddos and we had the stay of a lifetime.
We were traveling in a 20 foot minimalist campervan. I was a little worried about the road based on reviews but it was easy peasy. It’s a mile or less of gravel road. Just slow down and you’ll be fine.
Here is a roundup of our favorite things:
🚽: The cleanest porta potty we have ever used (which is a lifesaver with young kids who are afraid of normal porta potty’s)
☕️: The keurig was a daily life saver as I stumbled after my kids each morning
🚿: The Nude Saloon is hands down the best way to shower. I can’t stop talking about it.
🔥: Solo stoves and a little fire starter to help you get a smokeless fire. They even have marshmallow roasting sticks!
🌅: Views for days. Holy smokes this place is gorgeous and you have a great view of the sunset from every spot on the beach.
Finally, Abby and Anna are absolute gems. They deserve 10 stars for their service and accommodation. We can’t wait to come back next year!
