The best dog-friendly glamping near Bolivar, Missouri

Very cute and supplied with everything we needed. I would definitely advise driving there in a truck or at least a vehicle that is not low profile because the road to get there is a little washed out in spots. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay!

Weekend Trip to Tiny off grid A frame in the woods

The A Frame was a great place to spend a weekend away from the city. The building was comfortable and had some nice luxuries such as AC and a mini fridge. Bathroom facility was awesome: having a hot shower is unusual even for cabin camping. The area was clean and quiet. Definitely have a vehicle that can handle some rough gravel roads and be sure to follow the directions the host gives you.

2 nights at Misty Oak Getaways

I enjoyed my stay at Misty Oak Cabin. It was everything I needed and nothing I did not. I loved the seclusion. I don’t know what a holiday weekend is like, but I think I could count on one hand the number of cars and trucks I saw pass in front of the cabin. With that, I was about 10 minutes away from fishing at Bennett Springs. Everything in the cabin was neat and well kept. Check in and check out was seamless. Rachel always responded to messages within a few minutes. Next time I need seclusion, Misty Oak Cabin is definitely on my list.

My kids and I really enjoyed our stay! The bunkhouse is cozy and the hosts provide many thoughtful amenities. The property is lovely and we'll maintained. We had fun exploring! Close enough to Springfield to enjoy activities, then retreat away from the city.

Absolutely beautiful camp site. Camper was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a fun addition and the area was very nice to hike. We saw some wildlife on the trail. Matt was easy to work with. Definitely would stay again.

Kind and helpful staff with a beautiful little spread south of Clinton and north of Springfield. Accommodations of the Cowboy Cabin were solid with only a few small suggestions. Having a microwave with the kitchenette is great but I'd recommend finding a way to get a 2-burner propane stove so guests can cook (I brought my own). The 2nd thing would be that the window A/C was trying it's best, it really had trouble keeping the cabin cool during the warmest time of the day, once the installed wall unit is up and operational though I'm sure it'll be fine. Last and equally important, the wifi. I'm sure it's difficult to get anything faster but 5 up and 5 down is just not enough to keep up with the modern internet these days. The 5G signal I got on my phone was actually faster.

I had an amazing glamping experience in Buffalo, Missouri! The site was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect blend of nature and comfort. The canvas tents were spacious, cozy, and offered just the right amount of luxury for our group. One of the highlights was the outdoor kitchen, which was a total lifesaver when rain rolled in. It kept us dry and made cooking and hanging out together so easy and enjoyable. The host was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing comfort!

The bunkhouse was a perfect getaway for my little family of three plus our two fur babies. It was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. Our daughter enjoyed the play area and connecting/playing with Teresa's kids and others staying on the property. It was a wonderful family place! We can't wait to go back when the berries are blooming.

2 nights at Tiny off grid A frame in the woods

We needed to get away from the city and found this charming little A-Frame somewhat close to us. It was a lovely little cabin with a good amount of amenities if your looking for an easy weekend away or glamp experience. Having power generators was REALLY nice and honestly the bathroom is one of the nicest I've seen for an off the grid little setup. The dogs had fun, but tick season seems to of started a bit early. There are neighbors, but far enough away that they can't even be seen from the cabin and for the most part, it's REALLY quiet, which is just what we needed for the weekend. OH, there were a LOT of foot/shoe sized holes under the leaves, so be extra careful when walking around.
