Fagan Lake Heights

Located only 1 hour +/- to Ottawa or Kingston!

This property provides great access to a secluded level campsite surrounded by mature hardwoods and white pine, overlooking Fagan Lake.   There is an outhouse and firepit on-site, with firewood included (please don't bring your own firewood). Supplied Adirondack and other lawn chairs will really make your campfires special! Pets on leash are welcome. Tents, camper trailers and RVs up to 20 feet are welcome. This is a level pull-in site.  

There is a covered post-and-beam picnic shelter on site for rainy days.  A supplied BBQ, a large kitchen prep table, and a small round dining table complete the "glamping" feel.  There's always a full 18 litre jug of drinking water on site, although we recommend that you also bring your own water.

Access to a secluded lake which is about 2.5 km x 0.5 km in size, and connected to Bennett Lake by the Fall River. The lake is rugged and remote - only 8 cottages on the whole lake.  Swimming off the dock, or paddle over to the jumping rocks across the lake. Bring your canoe or kayak and explore the lake and wetlands. Or bring your mountain bikes and enjoy the backroads.  This property is in the heart of Lanark County, with all amenities within a 20-minute drive.  Lots of hiking trails nearby, and a nice sand beach at Silver Lake Provincial park 10 minutes away.  We're not far from Murphy's Point and Sharbot Lake PP as well.

If you like dark skies and quiet woods and going to bed listening to frogs and barred owls, or waking up with the woodland birds, this is the place.  No artificial lights here, and you can see the Milky Way clearly on a dark night.

Our property is located 5 minutes from the free ferry to Picton, Prince Edward County.  It's a convenient location for exploring Loyalist historical sites, the Tyendinaga Caves, breweries and wineries, Sandbanks Provincial Park, and for fishing renowned Hay Bay.

We're a quick 25 minute drive to Napanee, and 40 minutes to Kingston.

We have 2 kayaks and 2 standup paddle boards available for half-day rental at $20 each.

This is a great place for couples, families, or a girls trip away from it all; it's also an LGBTQ-friendly environment!

The beautiful town of Perth is a 15 minute drive away with Saturday morning market, cute mainstreet shopping or Stewart Park Festival in July as well as access to provincial parks or lakes and rivers within a 5 minute drive.

Our amenities cater to your comfort and convenience, a pump faucet for fresh water washing and a propane stove for cooking delicious meals, a power pack to charge your phone, solar and USB lighting.  A campfire area awaits, complete with foraging the forest floor for wood or can be provided for cozy evenings under the stars.

A library/art gallery/outhouse in the woods is a fun place to experience when nature calls.

Wake up in the morning, make coffee or tea (which come supplied with biscuits) to start your next days adventure.

The Ridge Retreat

The Ridge Retreat is 6 acres of beauty topped off with amazing waterfront and an awesome new dock. A gravel road has been prepared from the road access right down to the lake. We recommend that you park on the upper portion of this driveway/road and walk or use an ATV to travel on the trail to the lake. As mentioned, there is about a 40 ft incline just as you approach the clearing down by the lake . Please wear running/walking shoes and descend slowly down either of the 2 trails provided. The trail "Easy Street" is definitely an easier descent and climb.

Situated just off the main road, The Ridge Retreat offers you the privacy and beauty of 6 unspoiled acres.  Follow the gravel walkway/road down (5 min walk) to your amazing private dock situated on Howes Lake, Verona Ontario.  Deep, clean water for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, etc.&nbsp; There are 2 firepits should you decide to have a campfire - one at the road site (RV and trailer) and one at the waters edge. 

&nbsp;This property provides privacy and solitude for nature lovers.  The designated RV parking spot is up near the main road along with a very nice outhouse but if you decide to tent camp, there are a few choices that would bring you closer to the water's edge.&nbsp; An additional outhouse is located at the top of the incline to the lake. 

&nbsp;The gravel/asphalt trail down by the lake is the steeper of the 2 trails.  Choose the "Easy Street" trail off to your right after you pass the stop sign indicating that no vehicles should drive beyond.  This trail is a bit longer but a much more gradual incline.

Grocery shopping,  nature trails, etc are just a few minutes away.  The scenic town of Westport is a 30 min drive away with amazing shops and a local winery.

(Relax By The Ponds is located 500m+ north of a railway line.  The trains don’t have a schedule and in this area it’s a part of life.  The railway helped build Canada.   The whistles blow, but noise stops around 1130 and does not usually resume until 630-7am.)

Situated in rural Harrowsmith, our nearly 200 year old renovated barn sits on almost 30 acres of grassland. We have plenty of camping space and firepits, and will be adding more bunkie cabins in the future.

Brewery taproom opening late Summer 2025 with public bathrooms, retail shop and full restaurant with patios on site.

Camping areas are spread across the 25 acres. Some campsites may have neighbours and share a communal firepit area.

Hidden Sunset Farms

Beautiful 40 acres of farm fields and another 110 acres of forested land, on a privately owned spring fed lake. 3 minute beautiful walk to the water. Abundance of trails for walking and hiking, which lead you through the property and along the lake shore. Many outdoor activities including kayaking, canoeing, or catch and release fishing, of some of the cleanest fish around.  Kayak rental available. Although the shoreline is not swimmable you can swim in the middle of the lake.  Take in a campfire by your trailer or down by the lake shore, while enjoying s'mores or sipping on local wine, and watching fish jump. Wake up to the call of a Loon and possibly seeing deer in the field. This is not just a place to camp, but a place to make memories. River camping

170 acre property consisting of&nbsp;&nbsp;1.5 km stretching along a river with water falls at the fare East end of the property. The rest of the property is of mixed bush forest and small meadow to the South end&nbsp;that can accommodate a RV.The property offers a&nbsp;pristine&nbsp;natural environment abundant with wild life,&nbsp;bird watching and plenty of excellent swimming and fishing spots.There is only one easily assessable &nbsp;RV spot available on the land for booking, this is&nbsp;a small clearing by the entrance area that&nbsp;can abominate up to a few RVs from one group exclusively, or be booked for a single RV to use exclusively.Accessing the remainder of the land is by way of a bush road that will require walking in approximately&nbsp;1&nbsp;km or by way of a&nbsp;4 by 4 vehicle or ATV to access&nbsp;the waters edge.&nbsp;The K and P mixed use trail runs adjacent to the property and allows travel to Calabogie to the North&nbsp;or&nbsp;Sharbot lake and further&nbsp;South to Kingston by way of ATV right from the edge of the property.Sharbot lake is a short 15-minute&nbsp;drive from the property and offers all the amenity of a small town including a magnificent public beach that is ideal for small children.

Our property is located in the Rideau Lakes area of Ontario Canada on 136 acres of mixed forest and field on rolling hills.  There is 7 acres of wetlands also. We are situated between Upper and Lower Beverley lakes which are open for swimming.  We have trails set up for horseback riding or hiking. 

Laurentiu & Rita's Acres

62 Acre forest and bushes, 3 acre water pond for fishing. Our neighbor crown land full of wildlife including bears, deers, coyotes, raccoons and others.
You can ride ATV, dirt bike, walking in the "forest jungle) no trails set up yet. They will be in the future for a more adventurous holiday !

Old-Growth Maple Forest

Nestled at the edge of a UNESCO world heritage site, and a 5-minute dive from Big Rideau Lake -- part of the Rideau Canal System, Stonegate Farm is a remarkable 1830's property; virtually unchanged since it was carved out of the local wilderness some 190 years ago. 

The historic stone farmhouse, outbuildings and majestic post-and-beam bank barn, originally built to support a 200-acre dairy farm, now sits on 50-acres that features waving pastoral fields, tranquil maple forest, and serene wetland.  

Our camping sites are located at the edge of a beautiful old-growth maple forest, with two sites on a stunning and peaceful ridge, overlooking a unique wetland where migratory and song-birds flourish and waterfowl and wetlands animals congregate. It is an amazing window into the way this incredible unique ecosystem looked hundreds of years ago. 

Private secluded sites to reconnect with nature and /or the perfect base from which to discover the many unique regional attractions and experience the great outdoors. The natural beauty of South Eastern Ontario is at our doorstep.

Black Maple Farm

For the last 26 years we have lived here on our 6 acres of property where our Maple Sugar Bush allows us to produce our very own maple syrup every spring.

 [Side note: The sugar shack itself has been on the property for over 40 years.]

We also raise a small but varied collection of farm animals, grow vegetables, and operate a small Market Booth that sells handmade "Canadian Themed" Home Decor goods and Maple Products at the Frontenac Farmer's Market.

Our Farm is located on the very edge of the Canadian Shield, so most of the landscape is a rocky, rugged, and naturally wooded. Throughout the property are numerous short, looping, walking trails that meander throughout the Sugar bush, pasture area, 3 season pond, and our farm animal "homes". These trails are perfect for short nature walks, where you'll experience natural wildflowers and plants, see and hear song birds, small animal wildlife and of course, farm life too.

We are also located on the edge of the Eastern Ontario "Dark Sky" Area, which means we have a very nice view from the edge of our pasture of the North Sky stars on a clear night, with very minimal light pollution.

Our varied collection of farm animals includes; lots of chickens, (including roosters who DO crow in the early morning hours), miniature goats, horses, a couple of barn cats, and a dog.

During your stay with us you are welcome to come learn about and interact with our animals and daily farm life, if you so desire, and farm fresh eggs, maple syrup, local honey, and homemade baked goods, are also available to purchase too. (check out our "Extras" Section at booking page.
