Thank goodness there is a camping option halfway through the hike if you need to break it up into two days. Hanakoa campground is a densely canopied area with no view to speak of, but when you crash here after your legs have turned to jello, you might kiss the ground and declare it the best place on earth. Stay for a night on the way to or from Kalalau Beach. It is always there for you if you need it.
