In the dense Alaskan winters, Raven’s Roost alpine cabin stands above the rest. Literally. When the snow is deep, you can still access the cabin by a high loft door, where you’ll come into a cozy abode, complete with an oil heater, wooden table, and sleeping platform. This roost sits on top of a mountain behind the Petersburg airport, accessible by the 4.2 mile Raven Trail. The views up here are insane, so bring the snowmobiles for fun, wintertime exploring!
