I almost don’t want to review because I don’t want the word to get out how much I love this little (big) field!
Second time here, and we love this place. It’s got electric, water and cattle. It’s perfect, you feel secluded but yet the grocery store, restaurants, distillery and attractions are just a stone throw away.
Looking for a great local restaurant? Little Mountain Eatery. The Cajun fries and the steak and cheese panini are wonderful! (Thank me later)

We had a great time camping on the farm. Nice and secluded, lots of land, and felt safe and secure passing through multiple gates. Very convenient to anything you would need just down the highway a few miles. Great stop to recharge our batteries on the road home!

Staying so close to all the cows was so cute and such a great experience! They were very curious and came up to fence where we were able to pet them! We got some awesome film photos we are excited to develop! I would heartily recommend staying here any time you want to visit the smoky mountains!

Rustic but also reassuring. Plenty of privacy but close enough to a main road that you don't feel too isolated, and if you need anything it's a short drive away. The cows are awesome and curious!

Camping spot was awesome. Everywhere in Gatlinburg and pidgin forge was full and we still managed to last minute book with them. It’s on top of a hill with a decent view. Very primitive so make sure you bring anything you lol need for your stay but that was what I was hoping for so it worked out great!

Stayed by campfire ring next to the barn. Cows were in a different pasture when we arrived but in the morning they came up to the fence and seemed very curious.
The road was barely noticeable but the coyotes started howling at night which was wild because one coyote was so close you could clearly hear all the chatter of the howl. This location also has an amazing view.

We had a wonderful time camping with the cows. A word of warning though, these cows have large horns and will get up close to your equipment. We experienced a tiny bit of damage to our camper. One of the cows chipped off a plastic corner piece to our rig. The option to camp on the opposing side is available if you do not want get too close.
Beyond this, we had a blast on this beautiful piece of property.

Such a relaxing time. Still close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and GSMNP. The cows were friendly and curious. We enjoyed just sitting and watching them as well as wandering about the property and seeing them in different areas. It is along a busy road but we barely noticed the noise from it, and definitely didn't hear it at all when inside our RV. Eric was very responsive when we had questions. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great spot at a good rate. Perfect for those wanting solitude, safety, and some very friendly cattle. Eric, the host, was highly responsive and “checking in” was as simple as picking where you want to camp. Lots of space to find a private corner. I never make it to camp in time the first night. I’ll be doing night 1 at Cate Farm from now on.

Cows!!
So from the photos I expected a much more rural location, but it’s right off the highway. We originally couldn’t the water and had to message to get more details- but otherwise this was a fun experience. You do need to pick your location wisely in the field for leveling, but it wasn’t as hard to get set.
We woke up and found a cow looking in our windows, and my youngest said they were just the cutest thing gs she’s ever seen.

My wife and I had a great time camping at Cate Farm. We had fun watching the cows and had a quiet nights sleep. I would recommend.

I've always wanted to camp in a real pasture and Eric's land was perfect! We actually got to see him do some tractor work. The cows were sweet and beautiful. He even had a Scottish Highland cow! Will definitely stay here again!!

Our stay here was so wonderful and tranquil. Eric was very chill, and the cattle were wonderful. I 100% recommend if you’re looking for a quiet and interesting place to spend your night (or two).

the view by the back of the barn is nice as you can see mt le conte in the background. they have a telephone pole in the back with 20 amp electricity if you need it. there's a spigot where you can get fresh water. cows were super friendly (esp no 14!). there was some road noise but it didn't bother us. nice open space and private even though there were a couple other campers on the pasture. the only downside was the amount of cow poop -- which if you have a sensitive nose like me, could be problematic. perfect for a night or two if you're wanting to be close to pigeon forge / smokies.

Absolutely loved staying here! The cows were super friendly and as a solo female traveler I felt totally safe. Eric was amazing and helped me with my tent trouble and gave me some tips of what to explore around there. I’ll definitely be coming back in the spring. Oh and the stars at night!! So so beautiful.

There was a great view. Eric has some silly cows on a beautiful green plot. There’s a barn on top and he’s upgrading currently. Soon there will be a full bathroom and I think they hooked up some electric today! (Wish the workers waited a couple hours though). Great stay!

Fun and convenient place to stay, it's just a big pasture with a barn and cool longhorn cows which you can choose to stay with the cows or not. It is next to a main rd and has traffic noise but it didn't bother us we slept great. We will definitely be staying there again!

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The property is at the top of a hill just outside of town. You can see the mountain view from a newly built barn at the top and an extremely well kept gravel road leads to the top. It is obvious that the owner is Trying very hard to upgrade the pasture to make it most accessibly and have the most amenities for anyone camping.
