Barry is a very nice and accommodating host. As well, we got to meet Clint and another staff member who were just as friendly. We were lucky enough to camp during a time when there were baby goats to bottle feed. Which was awesome!
We set up camp in a gorgeous location beside a small creek.
There is a full functioning bathroom. They supply toilet paper, hand soap, and hot water.
Because of the remoteness of the farm, a truck or jeep is recommended.
We will absolutely go back!

I didnt end up staying there but The attention from Barry at Goat Paradise was was professional and informative. I got texts from him about how to get there, gate codes, and property description so I felt confident getting there.

Barry and his wife were so welcoming! I loved meeting all the animals, and their cattle guard dog was very attentive after the sun went down. What a good girl! Beautiful surroundings. Would definitely come back and get serenaded to sleep under the stars by the local Whippporwill.

Quiet, chill, simple camping on a fairly secluded goat farm - my wife and I had a great time at Peaceful Goat Paradise and will almost certainly be back in the future.

Peaceful Goat Paradise!
I really enjoyed parking by the creek—it was such a peaceful spot! Barry was very helpful and accommodating. I loved feeding the baby goats. I cut my trip short due to being sick of rain, but hope to come again sometime.

As other reviews have said, the drive requires a steep unkempt gravel hill which is a little rough. Wouldn't want to drive it in inclement weather. We loved playing with the goats and one of the dogs seemed to like hanging with us at our camp which we really enjoyed. The guest bathroom is in an office which is always accessible but we did have to ask about it. The sites don't have fire rings, just a cleared patch of land, so be extra safe. The sites themselves don't have picnic tables but there is one up near the barns along with a water pump. We were glad we brought our camp table. The firewood is communal and little usable wood was around when we went so we bought some firewood when we were in town. Overall it was an enjoyable place to camp. I wish our host would have given us a little more information upon arrival, however. For example, we had to ask about the restroom and it wasn't until the later part of our second day before we were told we were allowed in the goat pen. And on the way home we learned that they supply several restaurants with their goat cheese which would have been fun to learn more about.

Peaceful Goat Paradise!
We had a great time! We had a lot of fun exploring the creek beds and the animals were very sweet. The kids especially enjoyed the big dog that would visit our campsite.

Beautiful and private space. Did not see goats unfortunately, but probably because it was raining. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Barry and Lesley were so kind! They came to greet us at our campsite along with their super friendly dog and very curious goats. The goats were hilarious and so fun to watch. We even bought some delicious goat cheese made on site at their farm.
We were the only other campers there, so it felt quite private. Barry and Lesley let us use their picnic table area by the house as well as a bathroom in a separate building. The hosts were careful of COVID-19, and wore masks on the one occasion that we interacted within less than 6 feet of each other.
Overall, we loved this spot as a safe place to camp on our long drive cross-country. We stayed there in July though so it was quite hot, but we did hear a Barred Owl hooting in the middle of the night!

The spot was very nice. The goats and dogs were very fun to pet and watch. At night, the lightning bugs lit up the tree line, and it was awesome. Very hospitable hosts, we had a great time.

Peaceful Goat Paradise!
The drive is hard on a car because of the roads. Be a good idea to letpeople know. The natural water is a plus, fishing and if swimming is allowed, should be highlighted.

Was a beautiful campsite with plenty of space to do what ever you needed to do. They have a friendly dog that will like to follow you around and hang out with you! My only few things was the fire ring was a tag over grown that made me a bit wary that a fire might spread out the side of the ring but we never had a problem! All in all was a great experience. Will definitely consider coming back when stopping in Missouri!

The area was lovely, and the host was very kind. The goats and dogs love saying hello! The site is very safe! Their driveway is dirt and there is a steep hill right before getting into the farm, so if you have a two wheel drive, avoid going down it in very rainy or icy weather. An overall really amazing place!

Absolutely lovely! Barry was a great host! The campsite was beautiful and well maintained. The goats were adorable and we were pleasantly treated by two sweet dogs. Highly recommend this and will definitely be back in the future!
