Amazing little spot on the river, the kids had heaps of fun mucking about in the knee deep water. We’ll definitely be going back again!

We were meant to have the spot to ourselves but neighbours had loads of campers on his side. So wasn't exclusive at all, was perfect spot n beautiful but only booked it for privacy n didn't have it. If could guarantee full privacy would book again, just disappointing we weren't alone n with the cost we paid, it wasn't worth the stress as I have a reactive dog, hence why we wanted only us there.

Magic spot!
Unfortunately we where not advised on the condition of the track leading to the camping spot very soft sand not suitable for our 21 foot van we have 4x4 and did let the tyres down but car and caravan got bogged we had to spend the night on the track and we got towed out the next day
Please be ware of the soft track we did get a refund but lost the whole weekend

Beautiful location and Cristelle was a great host. She gave clear directions and recommendations for the local area. Our kids loved camping right on the river. There was some soft sand on the track in so make sure you deflate your tyres before leaving the gravel.

We had a lovely stay. It was beautiful being so close to the river and was relaxing. Our dog loved his stay and loved cooling off in the river.
There were campers on the other side of the river but it still felt private and peaceful.
Thanks for having us!
Our AWD just made it through the tracks, Cristelle was very helpful!

The camp spot was lovely next to the river. Very quiet and peaceful. The river was not very deep and our dog loved splashing around and exploring. The night sky was very clear with the stars shining brightly. Definately recommend and will come again, thanks Cristelle.

Love the fact you can camp by the water. Plenty of space and lots of beautiful trees. The great thing is it is only 90mins from Perth!

Had a great time camping on the river bank with direct access. Some sites better than others. Nice to take walk back into property to see the horses, which we found to be tame and approachable.

Beautiful spot with a shallow river for the kids to play and explore. Booked the additional horse therapy experience and it was amazing for the kids to interact with the horses - very special and something they won’t forget. Phone reception was patchy - just the way we like it!

Campsite was close to other campers. We had booked a river site but didn’t actually get a river location. Host was uncontactable to answer queries. Around the campsite had litter and toilet paper from other/previous campers. Wasn’t what was expected. Other than that was an alright spot. Good location to see the stars.

The kids absolutely loved this place, as did my husband and I. We will be back and we will be telling our friends to put this one on their list. Cristelle was a great host, so lovely to deal with. We really couldn't fault this place. White sandy river banks with a clear stream that the kids never got out of was just perfect.

Not completely private site as advertised. Other campers are literally 200m away. Booked a river site but there was no river spots as other campers has already taken river positions.
It is located within Autism Horses Australia but not mentioned. Do not follow Google Map for Autism Horses Australia as it takes you further down Nabaroo road. Also do not follow Google Map location posted by host as that is not the entrance. It took us an hour to look for the entrance as we weren’t told it was within Autism Horses Australia and host was not contactable.

Very peaceful. Big level spots either on the river or set back in a clearing, and well spaced apart. Great place just to chill. The approach can be a bit trick through some soft sand for about 20m. But we’ll worth it.

After booking this as a birthday treat to get out of the city for the no night, we were unable to camp at this spot as the host became very hostile and unwelcoming during the greating process. As well as not following proper covid safety measure after telling us she was postive. Incredibly disappointed in the situation but it did not ruin our trip finding a lovely place down the road that was so welcoming.

Firstly we are a very experienced camping couple and have used HipCamps a lot and have not had any issues so this is not aimed at HipCamp, this is aimed at a terrible host.
We booked this location around 4 weeks prior and we thought we were in for a few nights of quiet camping so on the day we were to leave we were both very excited and looking forward to the adventure.
We drove the 2 hours from home up to the hosts property where we followed the very basic "host's written directions" on the listing of "enter through double gates signed 'Autism Horses Australia' to receive further instructions but unfortunately this is where our excitement ended.
After trying to call 3 times, text message twice (both iPhones so could see the messages were delivered), going to the house to try and find someone and waiting about 40 minutes to see if anyone come home we did not receive the further instructions so we decided to drive home again.
Once we got home and unloaded the ute we text the host to ask what the return policy was as we were unsure and had never had this happen before where we received VERY abusive text calling us "babies" and "rude" and "better suited to commercial parks" and that "assumptions were made". Now all the rudeness aside these txt messages were returned within minutes but the original txt 3 hours prior still had no response.
After receiving 4 of these same type text we contacted HipCamp with screenshots of the communications which have been great

Absolutely lovely spot by the river! Fantastic for a warm autumn weekend away. Very picturesque, clean and shady. Perfect for a more private camping spot for a group- will definitely be coming back ☺️
Access did require a 4WD/large SUV to get though some quite soft sand.
