We had an amazing stay at Hamman’s Place. Roelof & Nicolene’s hospitality and consideration of their land and what they offer is fantastic! We will absolutely be back!!! Writing a review is a little disappointing… now everyone will know haha 😉😂

What a fantastic place. The serenity, the space, the location were all fantastic. The hosts are so accommodating, showing us to the spot, explaining everything, providing firewood etc. So much space between campers its like being on your own. Able to have a roaring campfire. We all loved it and will be back soon.

This is a great little spot for a lovely weekend camping. The hosts Roelof & Nicolene were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a great weekend at Hammans Place. Well set up! Quiet and well spaced campsite. Plenty of woods for campfire. Lovely hosts! We'll definitely comeback 👍👍👍

Overall a lovely place. Lovely hosts, very attentive and friendly.
Absolutely fantastic for kids, with a large grassed area for them to run around in, play cricket or footy (or have running races as the group next to us did!) Lots of free firewood available to use in the provided firepits.
We stayed at campsite 3 in the creek paddock - if you are looking for a bit of privacy and/or seclusion, I would suggest not staying in this area, as the campsites are very close to each other. Apparently, there are several spots on the other side of the creek that are more secluded.

Nicolene met us on arrival. We were able to choose our spot as we were the only ones there. Water & bucket is provided to put out the camp fire at night. There is a bird of prey who would feed her baby is a nest. Kids loved the sheep & digging holes ;)

What a gorgeous treasure Red Dog camp is. We had the most incredibly relaxing time here. Could not recommend our stay at Hammans Place enough.
Roelof and Nicolene where amazing hosts. Very welcoming.
We will be back for sure.

Nicolene met and escorted us to our campsite. We had the whole beautiful paddock to ourselves. It is a stunning way to get away from the city.

We found this little gem by chance when looking to try out our free camping skills and setup. It is a beautiful location with ample space to setup. Nicolene was very welcoming on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed to get ourselves setup and sorted for a relaxing weekend. The fire pits were open and collecting wood off the property was no problem, remember your chainsaws! We highly recommend this property for your next stay, and we will definitely be back again! Thank you so much Nicolene, and to your family, for opening your property so we can enjoy your slice of paradise!

It was so quiet, huge campsite a I was able to have a fire as the owners obtained a fire permit. Stargazing was great. My dogs and I really enjoyed our stay.

Great camp. Very peaceful and relaxing so much so we stayed an extra night! Our 2nd, 3rd and 4th nights we had the whole camp to ourselves.

Had a fabulous Easter Weekend camping at Hamman's Place. I was a bit hesitant at first as it would have been our first camp without flushing toilets and running water, but it wasn't at all as bad as I thought it would be. The kids had heaps of fun, and were exhausted come bed time. We loved the wide open spaces and the quiet. Great way to reconnect as a family and spend quality time together. We will definately be visiting again!
