What is the best time to visit The Hermitage?

A scenic view of The Hermitage

The Hermitage is open daily, all year-round, and makes for a delightful visit at any time. Perhaps best of all, however, is the autumn when the forest is bursting with colour and you can spot salmon leaping in Black Linn Falls as they head to spawning grounds farther upriver. Other wildlife you can see throughout the year include red squirrels and occasional beavers. Spring is a great time to see the blooming bluebells. The Hermitage is located in Perthshire forest in Scotland.
