Can you wild camp in Glencoe?

Wild camping in Glencoe, located in the Scottish Highlands, is allowed under the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. However, due to the popularity of the area and the need to protect the environment, some restrictions apply. Between March 1st and September 30th each year, wild camping is only permitted within designated camping areas in certain parts of Glencoe, specifically the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Outside of these designated areas and during the off-peak season (October 1st to February 28th), wild camping is allowed as long as you follow the "leave no trace" principles and respect the local environment, wildlife, and other visitors.
