We are offering camping with access to an indoor bathroom, shower, laundry and a 6 person cedar sauna on our beautiful corner lot located near downtown Hastings, MN.  If you are looking for a location that gives you great access to world class fishing, hiking, swimming and biking, as well as an active downtown full of small businesses, this is the spot for you! Within walking distance of downtown Hastings (local breweries, restaurants, shops, live music), the Mississippi River Park (Jaycee Park) and the Mississippi River Trail (MRT). Very close to CP Adams Park, Vermilion Falls Park, Spring Lake Park (great hiking) and the St. Croix River (best swimming). Hastings has it's own 10 mile loop/trail.  If you are craving a more urban experience, St. Paul is a 25-minute drive away! You can get nearly anywhere in the metro area in less than an hour. Smoking and the use of camp stoves is permitted outdoors but please keep an eye on your flames/ashes for safety's sake.  We are in Hastings, so if you are looking for a super rural camping spot this is not for you. If you are looking for a blend of town and country, please join us! ***PLEASE READ PRIOR TO SENDING A BOOKING REQUEST*** Safety is a priority: prior to accepting a booking request, images of  legal photo IDs for all adults may be required for first time campers. This is to ensure the identity of the person making the booking and to preserve the safety of guests. Please ask about this policy if you have any question or concerns, I am happy to clarify.       Quiet urban camping
      I stayed for 4 nights, having the house close by was comfortable. Friendly and helpful hosts, quiet campingplace. Great location to explore the twin cities and surrounding parks.

      Ashley was a wonderful host and the space met our needs (to take a shower and do a load of laundry) perfectly! And the shade gardens around the space were amazing—such a lovely spot. Staying in town was a nice change of pace on our cross country camping trip. I’d definitely return if in the area again.
