It was quiet, cosy and peaceful. We enjoyed the lovely outlook.
What a beautiful spot for some camping. It is a short walk up to the campsite itself but the hosts provide wheelbarrows to help move things back and forth.
The campsite itself is lovely, enough space to keep to yourself, or plenty of room around the firepit for everyone.
Stunning views of the countryside, with only the odd train passing nearby. The occasional sounds of the deer and cows, alongside the bird calls helped settle me into the nature nearby.
Hosts clearly care very much about the campsite, accessiblity to the outdoors, and giving back to the land.
Would absolutely recommend, and will book again.
Brilliant for a wee overnight in the peace and quiet with the wife.
The hut was a perfect stopover on our way to the Islands. Simple and charming. Lovely sunset and we cooked a great meal on the wood burner. Host was great. .

The beautiful cabin is in a lovely quiet private space. There are nice views across to the hills particularly when sat by the firepit. Alex and Lauren made us feel very welcome.
We really enjoyed our stay in the bell tent and will definitely return. The campsite was lovely with clean toilet onsite with tap and soap available. The bell tent was bigger than expected and easily accommodated our family of 4 with blow up beds and still plenty of space to move about. We enjoyed the central campfire and our boys loved exploring the grounds and meeting the horses. Lots of love lovely walks close by. The hosts were great with communication before and during our trip. Lovely memories made and looking forward to returning another time!
We really loved our stay! The bell tent was wonderful and very spacious for our little family of 4. We loved the fire pit and the toilet is also very nice. The site is beautiful with lovely views and lots of opportunity to see deer and hear so many birds. Alex was a brilliant host. We loved the local area especially Langloch farm, great place to visit with kids.

Amazing location and host. Very friendly and made us feel so welcome, our pump didn’t work and he let us borrow his!! Was so kind, amazing views and the walks were beautiful. Will definitely be back! Already booked our next stay
Our host greeted us when we arrived and was welcoming and helpful. It’s a short pleasant walk from the parking up to the site which has space for a few big tents and a couple of smaller ones in addition to the bell tent that sits in the centre a little back from the camp fire. The site is natural with a peaceful feel, no feeling of being on a traditional camp site from it.
We stayed in the bell tent for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The bell tent itself is so spacious - it easily fits 2 double air beds with space still left for camp chairs around the stove. The stove really is an added bonus - it made the temperature in the tent just nice with the heat from the stove, with the added bonus of having hot water for tea and coffee warmed up on the stove at the same time. So even if it’s raining you can get the camp fire benefits from inside the tent. We took wood to burn in the stove and it’s very efficient, you don’t need lots to last a couple of nights. Note - we also took drinking water as there’s none on site though there is small sink with water for washing.
We didn’t travel whilst at the site, instead we opted to just take the time to sit and relax and have a walk about, but there is stuff to do and see nearby if you wanted to explore. It’s a safe enclosed site for kids to run around freely.
If you’re looking for a small friendly place to just get away for a couple of nights and relax in a natural environment then this site will give you that.
This cabin is very cute. Excellent value. Great views, lovely bedding. Simple but really thoughtfully done. Highly recommend. Small wood burning stove inside and fire outside. Very simply equipped ( nice) but everything you need. Nice compost toilet.Outdoor sink with water supply. Great decking around cabin.We were lucky enough to have sunshine and watched sun go down. We threw some pork chops and tomatoes on the outside fire ( bought from excellent farm shop at the nearby Tenby service station ) and boiled potatoes and asparagus on the wood burning stove inside and had delicious meal with bottle of wine. Had place all to ourselves. What’s not to want. Our dog loved it too ! Will return. Perfect to break journey if you travelling up further north Scotland as we were, or just relax for a few days.
Our family spent the night here as a wee adventure for the kids and to test out our new tent. Place was perfect for us. Couldn’t have asked for more from the host. From the car park there’s a few minutes walk up the wooded area used for camping but the host let us use a couple of wheelbarrows to shift our stuff (+ kids). Thanks Alex, we’ll defo be back and would love to bring another couple of families next time.
This is a fantastic spot for camping hosted by a lovely family. The camp spot was perfect, surrounded by beautiful, scenic views of the surrounding boroughs. It was great for our first stop in Scotland after a long journey from Liverpool. We’ll most definitely return. Thanks for a fab night.
