Very nice place to camp! Only a couple spots to camp on this property and they are a spaced far apart so you won’t be running into or hearing anyone else. Charlie and Jen are super friendly 10/10 would recommend camping here. Also some super friendly cows to enjoy.

Escape from the grind
We really enjoyed our time camping here. There was a small stream next to the camps that was just deep enough to float in, while the sound of the water over the rocks was incredibly relaxing. We spent the better part of a Saturday just sitting in our chairs next to it reading and relaxing.
There were other people camping there, but we did not run into them. For a labor day weekend escape, with little to no pre-planning, it ended up being wonderful. I was surprised how private the space was, and the view of the mountains and woods was fantastic.
Charlie was very friendly and easy to chat with. This was our first "Hipcamp" experience and I was initially nervous about it. But in the end it was far superior to our last few camp ground excursions. Definitely vastly quieter and more tranquil.
Late in the evening there was no light pollution and the stars were incredible. If you have not ventured out of town before to really see the stars I highly suggest this spot. Also about 20 minutes or so from Pacific city if you need supplies or just want to drive on the beach a bit.
Plenty of shade tree's and no skeeters. I would definitely suggest it to anyone, and bookmarked it for future trips.

My family had a great time camping at Charlie’s place. We had SOOOO much space all to our selves. We booked very last minute and when we showed up, Charlie hadn’t been notified. They were very accommodating and showed us to our spot and left us alone. It was a nice last minute get away for my family.
The kids loved the creek and little swimming spot. It was cold but the kids didn't mind.
We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some peace and quiet.
Bring entertainment or a book. You won’t have cell service. It was a nice break.

South Fork Camp 01
Fresh fish dinner!
We have stayed at several hipcamps and while all have been great, this one was especially perfect for us. As listed, there are no toilets but we are fully set up with our own shower shelter and portable toilet. Plenty of room for our little trailer at the campsite by the creek. Very peacefully and private. Jen met us near the entrance to their property and guided us to our campsite. We signed up for fishing and Charles was great, setting us up to fish and we were not disappointed in catching fish for our dinner. The pond is a little distance from our campsite and we felt like we get special treatment by being shuttled from our campsite to the pond for fishing.

Private, relaxing and plenty to do.
Peaceful, private, no-fuss property with plenty to explore. Creeks were really clean and active, plus fishing the pond with Charlie was a nice touch. Hosts were extremely accommodating and we felt safe and welcome our entire stay. Highly recommend!

Family & pup friendly!
My family of 4 (including 6 year old & pup) enjoyed our one night stay, tent camping by the creek. There was a good amount of shade in our spot and a nice firepit & picnic table setup. Charlie was a friendly host.

South Fork Camp 01
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kitten Creek. Charles and Jen were welcoming and made sure to help us get settled into our site and share the interesting parts of the property worth exploring.
I stayed a weekend in July with my 10 year old and while here we enjoyed exploring the creeks looking for crayfish and other wildlife, swimming in the swimming hole, trout fishing in their stocked pond, playing with their puppies, and spending time around a campfire.
A nice 30 minute drive to Pacific City and the Oregon Coast, we ventured there one morning to explore the amazing tide pools and giant sand dune at Cape Kiwanda before going stand up paddle boarding on the Nestucca River.
We have a stayed at a lot of Hip Camp sites and I highly recommend Kitten Creek. We will be returning in the future as well and brining the rest of our family and dogs (pet friendly site).

Wide Open Spaces
Charles' land has everything you could want in an outdoor trip- lots of wide open spaces, a calming creek nearby, and even some furry (moo-ing) friends to say hi to. Easy to find, perfectly located, and stocked with a fire pit, grill, and picnic table. We had everything we needed, (and then some) with Charles' hospitality and kindness. We went looking for some R&R and found it in heaps at Kitten Creek.

Awesome place! Wonderful hosts and really exceeded our expectations. The spots are really secluded with a nice stream that runs through the property, which is great for hot days.

A spacious and beautiful retreat!
We loved camping on Charles land! By far the best camping experience we have had yet! Myself, my husband and our 3 german shepherds stayed for a week in our 28ft toy hauler RV. We had such a relaxing time enjoying the views, exploring the spacious fields and playing in the beautiful creek that ran right by our camp spot.

Site 7 - Kitten Creek Adventure Camp!
Serene, Safe, Sublime!
Charles’ land was so hard to leave, even after staying a whole week! He’s an amazing host—quick and excellent communication, thoughtful, extremely friendly, loves animals and kids, and he made me feel very welcome and safe on his property. He gave us our space and privacy while also checking in on us once to make sure my kids and I were ok. I felt entirely safe there camping alone as a woman, as well as when my kids joined me later in the week. And the land—wow was it gorgeous. We were there in July and had perfect weather, and I got lucky enough to be able to pitch my tent a few feet from a babbling creek and fabulous swimming hole. The large space offered the feeling of remote privacy, yet was still only about 20-30 minutes from the beach. Can’t wait to return!
