Spacious, level camping well-suited for travel trailers over 40 ft long.

We are a retired couple, happy to share our unique 20-acre hobby farm in Acacia Hills, with its menagerie of animals. Our property is lovingly cared for and has a homely feel with plenty of space and freedom. Campers are welcome to feed and pat the animals (through the fences). There are buffalo, Brahman cattle, Texas long horn, horses, poultry, pig, donkey, cats and dogs. Kids and families love it! The camping area is away from the main house, and close to the stables, and the shed where you'll find the toilet and shower. The area is grassy, with options for shade. We do welcome pets, but please ensure they don't harass the other animals. We are in close proximity to the local service station for essentials, and within an hour's drive from Darwin.1 site but group bookings accepted. Host no longer taking campers

This site is no longer taking books. Please be careful as you can still instantly book and pay. I'm waiting for a refund and hopeful it will be resolved with hosts or hipcamp.

Camping with animals!

We had the absolute best time! The kids LOVED all the animals and Jenny’s bd Willy couldn’t have been friendlier. And only 45 minutes out of town!! We will be back!!

Such a lovely farm stay

We had such a great time staying at Acacia Hills. Jenny and her family were so friendly and inviting. The farm was lovely and the trees beautiful. They also had the biggest buffalo we've ever seen. We'll be back next year for another stay.
