40 acres hosted by Leslie H.
3 motorhome/tent pitches
This 40 acres has been in our family for 3 generations. It was formerly part of a much larger cattle ranch and has been host to many, many camping trips. This is a remote area with primitive camping and all that entails. We love the remote-ness but it is not for everyone. This land was part of a northern migration by nomadic hunter and gatherers and has continued to be an unofficial northern migration route for people through time. This area is a highway for migration of many species of birds and animals. It is a mecca for migration because it has one of the only water sources available.
