Garden of Eden by the Grand Canyon
Never again!!
Wow! I do not even know where to begin. This site, if you can call it that, is an affront to any traveler looking for a place to rest. I cannot believe that this is called “Garden of Eden”. Someone is having a laugh at people who are looking for a place to rest at night. First: getting there. You have to drive down a long narrow dirt road with very deep ruts in them and I am certain that even with the lightest sprinkle of rain you will be trapped in that place until the ground dries up completely. The place itself. What place? There are several heaps of partially rotted wood, rusting iron, car wrecks, etc.. it looks like people have used this place to discard stuff they don’t want to dispose of in the appropriate way. I promise you, there is nothing, absolutely NOTHING appealing about these heaps of rubbish. The amenities. That is a funny one. The “toilet “ is an old, dirty boat toilet set in a rotting tiny wooden lean to without a door. The shower is an empty old dirty shower base that someone discarded with an old dirty toilet seat sitting in it. Do I need to go on?? I have slept on the floor of trains with people stepping over me, I have slept on rocks on the beach in Greece. I do not need comfort. But this????? DO INCREDIBLY DISGUSTING and really an affront to us all. I can’t believe that I fell for this and spend the time and money to get there, Please take this site down so that nobody else had to go through what I and my kids had to go through. Thanks. .

Beautiful spot, beautiful view of the stars, and easy to find! The set up is a little confusing (looks like a junkyard), but it’s fun at the same time.

This is a dirt patch besides what appears like a dump. It was fine for my dog and I, but the name felt very deceiving.

Close to GC
Big open plot of land just a half hour from the Grand Canyon. Fun random objects around the site and was easy to find. Had the whole place to ourselves for the night. Would stay again.
